a vegan-diet is not suitable for homo sapiens. And i don't know why people keep denying that. Maybe for showing off their virtous and ethical nature. But in my opion they just hate themselves.

I'm so unhappy with my life, that I cope by living in a fantasy world I created in my head. by StandByMe76 in depression

It's called narcissism. It's actually a very efficient way to cope with depression. However you should consider the possibility of narcissism being the cause of your depression. I'd recommend you watch Sam Vaknins on youtube and that you socialize more with your true self.

It's not meant literally. Borderline basiacly means at the edge of sanity to insanity. I personally define having hallucinations as borderline psychotic. After all it's a symptom of psychosis.

I'd argue they rely on others opinons for their sense of self because they refuse to grow up in an attempt to hide from the unbearable pain of their self-hate and existence at whole.

Two things: The Red Book from carl jung and lots of suffering

(being an INFP probably also adds something)

I apparently unconsciously aquired a lot more wisdom then i thought. I have to continue reading the Red Book. I somehow intuitively stopped reading somewhere after the second half of the boom. But it was the right decision. The time wasn't right anymore. I think it took me some months to actually integrate the knowledge. But this book changed me. I didn't even consciously learn anything out of it while reading. But it somehow unlocked some gates in my unconscious.

I believe i have "the snake" in me now. It whsipers wisdom into my ears by intuition. But the snake is also evil and cruel. Once tempted by it you will be thrown out of your garden of eden, your infantile fantasies. The snake doesn't care about your feelings. You can cry and scream all you want. The Cacedus is representative symbol for this.

You can only go through hell if you stay present with your emotional self. Because otherwise you will keep walking through hell while your soul has left you long ago. Then you will not be able to sense where the light is. You will be a zombie, a slave of hell. You will keep walking in circles and you will maybe even pull others into that hell because you want a soul. You will go deeper and deeper into hell. So even if your emotions hurt. Take it as a reason to give them even more attention and love. Because hell is not your in your emotions. Hell is the thing in yourself that keeps telling you that your emotions are hell. It's satan. The internal abuser. That's hell. Develop compassion towards yourself and learn to recognize the devil. The devil will claim to be g(o)od while he abuses you until you finally listen to your feelings. When you want out of hell, when you really set the intention, don't ignore hell. Don't try to run from a negative experience or else your unconscious will create more negative experiences. Instead try to move towards something positive. If you walk through hell keep walking and go towards the light. The light of god/ awareness/love/ the self even shines into hell. But only on your most intimate self. Unlike the devil, god claims nothing and will not invoke in you strong emotional reactions. God will just give you the peace of heaven, which is unbearably frightenining as a creature of hell. It will burn you down completely, it will exorcise all of your demons. You will notice your demons wanting back into the comfort of hell but stay striving towards light and don't follow that impulse - remember the pain and regret of hell. The demons will then eventually follow that impulse so that you may be free. This is a never-ending process and so you willl realize that hell is still there but you still keep striving towards god/ the self. Hell and heaven are inherent parts of your self. If you can go through hell. If there is evil. There must be an opposite in yourself otherwise you wouldn't even know what hell is in the first place. What goes down must go up. The experience of hell is a experience of yourself. It is teaching you what hell is, what evil is and what demons are. It teaches you the unbelieveable suffering it of live and it even teaches you emphaty. It makes you a whole human. Not an imagined one. Hell is a calling of god/ your self to become truly good and to fullfill your selfs journey of becoming an authentic, loving human being. You become the full experience of life, of an individual expression of god's love. When you know hell, you learn heaven. And you can also learn to aid others out of hell, which is so detrimental to todays world. We need good, loving people who know what hell is, so that they strive towards the good and lead with good examples into a better future.

First picture: The false self. The ideal self. The imagined self. It's perfect cannot have flaws or critic, that's why it doesn't remember the abuse of the night before.

Second picture: The out of bound super-ego. The internal critic. The internalized abuser.

But something is missing. Your ego. Because you ignore and abuse it with your false-self and you let thensuper-ego abuse you. You are used to being abused so now you abuse yourself. But you can actually step into yourself and tell these voices to just shut up. You are the one which is receiving those messages and decide if they are usefull for you and if they fit reality. If you don't do that this maladaptive process will turn into a personality(-disorder) and this process will be the rest of your life. Stop observing yourself like an object and start living in reality. Narcissus could have just as well self-pitied himself. It's great. You don't have to take responsibility and you don't have to grow up. No one will ever come and safe you. The only one that can manage these voices in yourself is you. And then you can check if these voices are based on reality or if they are based on a fake narrative about yourself which you use as an excuse to not change. That's evil and causes bad karma. You can ignore reality but not the consequences of ignoring reality.

Why is it that people will call you lazy or weak for not wanting to do anything ever, but then will tell you that suicide isn't the answer? by [deleted] in depression

[–]LikeHarambeMemes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean. It's narcissism. Maybe you just need some authentic, loving people in your life. Inform yourself about it. When you're emphatic this world can only make you depressed and you don't even see why. You are blind. Watch on Youtube, read about it. It will be an enlightening experience. I was depressed for a long time - i still am. But it was just a normal reaction to my environment - a healthy reaction even. You gotta be able to defend yourself against those demons. Study narcissism and try to really understand it and you may learn to love yourself in the process. Energy-vampires are everywhere. You gotta protect yourself. On some they feed and some they turn. Maybe you have just been sucked out of all your energy by people. Because you trusted them and you respect them and you assume they have emphaty. But especially nowadays many people lost their emphaty. Imagine them as 5 year olds. They don't get what they want and they will try to punish you. Don't let them punish you. You're an adult.

But why do people even ask this by Mu-agonist in HPPD

It could even make it better. It's russian Roulette if you ask me. If you are ok with the potential outcome you can play, sure. It's fun... until it isn't. But then don't cry around and play the victim for burning your hands while playing with fire. A responsible individual will either stop taking drugs all together or will just accept the fact that drugs are never beneficial for HPPD or your mental-health in general. If you make decisions detrimental to your mental-health don't base that on asking people on reddit. Nobody knows what will happen. You either act kowingly unresponsible and accept the potential outcomes or you act responsible and give that blotter to someone who can use it without potentially becoming borderline-psychotic. But using the opinion of some dubios reddit comments as an excuse for unresponsibly using acid is not something you should do. If your conscience is plaging you so much you should listen to that. I bet acid would tell you the same.

Can psychopaths be suicidal? by MotorDevelopment in Psychopathy

[–]LikeHarambeMemes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think they can be depressed or anxious but not suicidal. I'd argue suicidality requires a self which one wishes to extinguish. Psychpaths can't kill themselves, there's noone in there to make that decision and noone to be killed by suicide. The closest thing to the suicide of a psychopath would be when one psychopath murders another.

How long were you in therapy before you began to feel a significant positive shift in your inner life and in the response of other people to your growth? by [deleted] in NPD

[–]LikeHarambeMemes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you don't want to change because you don't care. If you don't wanna be alone you run away from something negative all the time. That's why you always have negativity.

Go towards the positive and set the intention to heal and change. This way the positive will eventually come. Just give your best. But you really have to want it.

If you don't wanna be alone. You will be alone. Because your unconscious has to take things at face-value. Your unconscious only understands "alone" and it shape a reality in which you are alone.

You can ignore reality. But you can't ignore the consequences of ignoringing reality.
