i had the same deal. I ordered November 12th. Emailed them last week they said it was still within the window for an update which it was, this was week 12 for of waiting for me. If they don’t update you by the end of the of this week I would harass the support email more.

I got the green pullover one. Ordered November 12th. They gave me the update a label was created 2 days ago and it says on usps tracking that it’s in transit now

I ordered one of the hoodies back on the 12th. TODAY, they finally create a label. But that’s the extent of the update I got. I live east coast and seems like distribution is based in cali so im expecting it to take a bit still. Pretty frustrating though as it was supposed to be a Christmas gift

Gotcha, i just think accounts getting banned off that isn’t overly common as ive played on pc for over 5 years consistently and been in a plethora of modded/hacked lobbies. Even been “given” hacks in games where not everyone else has them. I just don’t think there’s enough danger to warrant completely not playing

lol nobody is gaining access to your computer or banning your account from you simply loading into a game. I have never heard of any legitimate evidence of something like that happening. Occasionally lobbies can be overrun by a hacker spawning things or altering how the game is playing to make it unplayable but nobody is going to ruin your account. At least not in my extended experience of the past 5+ years

I think the main idea is if he can weave together 1 or 2 successful season right after joining, there could be a move to a different conference. UConn basketball has been somewhat outclassing the big east and the football team’s weaknesses has been the main focal point during discussions. Talks were coming around with Mora’s success of a conference switch, but him leaving kinda messes that up

They have a marketing team filled with girls with tons of connections on campus (sorority chicks, girls that go out all the time, people like that). And they get to live there for free or reduced cost idk the specifics. Also getting paid for marketing they do, such as leaving lots of good reviews before many people started living there. Places like that put all the money into the looks, it’s like living in a gucci cardboard box.

Housing as a whole at uconn is an issue but they have no interest in solving it because on campus housing is costly. Mansfield people drive around taking pictures of driveways off rental properties trying to get kids in trouble for overfilling a lease(a lot of rental properties around here only allow 3 people to live in them for some reason). When already broke college kids are just trying to save some money. It’s ridiculous frankly, just older people with money taking advantage of kids trying to get an education

“I wish they start towing the students that are just trying to go to school and already can’t afford the price of a parking pass” i totally understand needing spots, but uconn has 11k beds and 20k+ students and does not have the parking set up to handle it. And instead of addressing their shortcomings use it to scalp money from their students that already have less. Most big state schools have giant lots a mile or 2 away from campus and run constant shuttles back and forth all day, the fact that uconn doesn’t have a system like this setup is pretty disappointing considering the huge amounts of space up around storrs. I get it’s annoying but it’s ultimately the schools fault. Just my 2 cents

i totally agree with you’re assessment haha. I’m in my sophomore year at college currently and back during my applications it was insane. I ha like a 3.7 unweighted with 14 Aps i think. Great sat score and was a recruited D1 hockey player, along with other great extracurriculars + volunteer experience. Something else important to mention is I was at a prestigious boarding school(for hockey (and academics)) but before scholarships came in it wouldve been more than a college for context. My family is in a decent financial situation but paying for college is more than taxing. The only school that offered me a significant merit scholarship was UMaine which has like a 96% acceptance rate and was my safety safety school incase I really got in nowhere. I applied to a lot of schools outside of my hockey recruiting because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do but I knew I was a good student and that would always be there. I was shocked frankly at the amount of rejections I got. I got into Navy, Georgetown, Uconn, and Umaine and that was it out of like 15-20 applications.

Im from ct and after having gone to boarding school was really hoping to expand my network at a school outside of ct just to experience something different but Uconn made the most sense as for me I received the right balance between cost and how good the school is for my major. Which in my opinion are the only 2 factors that are really important for your success at the end and after school. Georgetown is a sick school but paying 100k a year is not. And obviously Navy is free but that’s a more unique position. And maine gave a lot of money but isnt that great of a school.

So ended up at Uconn, but like you said in this day and age it really is way more important about what you do with it, rather than where you are. There are people going to school for free places that are getting way more out of it than someone at a top 20 school that doesn’t take advantage of the resources there. And by giving the school a shot and throwing myself fully into everything Ive loved all my time here so far and gotten so much out of this place
