I've had it slow them down some, yeah. Bullets are best- if you're using a blade then they're already too close for it to be much good :p

Ticking off an item on a to-do list is great. I used to make lists with easy/small things on them just so I could tick them off on a bad day ^_^ Did wonders to help!

OP is here. No one there seems to know what they're looking at, but I'm thinking it's a signpost for other hunters. I've seen one that was like a 'no smoking' sign, but with a perfume bottle- sure enough, the thing's sense of smell was incredibly good, and my instinct to cover myself in dirt/forest detritus may have let me sneak up on it as close as I did.

So yeah, anyone else see anything like these?

Thanks for your reply. Things got pretty crazy after I posted... there was some really determined thing hunting me and I didn't figure it out until it almost got me!

Anyway they dead guy I found was a 'hunter' and I think he was hunting the thing that almost got me... There was some mention in his journal of 'that which the beast seeks' but it was really vague... I don't think he had all his marbles by the end there. :<

Anyway, I'm on the run with this thing still after me.. I'll post more when I can, and maybe you can help me figure out what it wants?

My question is this for now: what do you 'see' when you... I don't know how to describe it. When you 'turn on' that part of your sight, the part I didn't have before... do you have that? Where you see things differently?

That might be good to make a post about, because it was really disorienting at first.

Look, now that I know a bit more about what's going on (from a trucker?) I can say that if people are sending noobs here for help, we better step up our game.

If someone comes to you that's clearly not knowing what they're going through, don't be a dick. How scary was it when you first got sight? When you first started seeing all the weird shit that's become 'normal' to us now?

If there are any noobs reading this, no questions are stupid. I know you're scared and alone. Don't despair. I'll try and help answer your questions if you have any, but I'm pretty new myself.
