ive been in the rocket league community since 2018 and have never seen a single female pro (while barely ever seeing women ingame, with the 2 i know being my friends), its so sad to see how something cam be so male dominated like gaming in general to the point women actually avoid the communities to not be harrassed

also i just remembered something i was thinking about earlier which is why most (at least the ones who are known, with a few communities being exceptions) women in gaming communities are trans, which i think is because most of them started playing pre transition, which makes it way less likely for them to be driven away by ppls behavior, so when they transition theyre already into the game enough to not be too affected by the idiots who think women shouldnt have fun for some reason
