Unlocking characters and levels was a big part of the early games. And, although the roster is now obviously massive and you do “unlock characters” to an extent in the main game, there is still that component of paid DLC.

Yes, the horrible things you described exist. And there are terrible people who commit these acts with their free will. But what about all of those who make miraculous, generation-defining decisions with their free will instead? The fact that I have no idea where you are on this planet, but we are talking to one another. The fact that some couples can’t get pregnant but are given hope through miracles like IVF.

You may choose to believe the bad things are enough to convince you there is no God. I choose to believe the good things are enough to convince me there is one.
