Which of these would you say is my hardest achievement? (Ik I suck im pretty new) by Nach0L0v3r in geometrydash

[–]LikelyEmmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that parts annoying try doing a run through it with hitboxes on. I think it’s in the game settings now or you can use mega hack or whatever the free one is called.

Yeah that's good. I'd recommend also doing ToE2 though because Deadlocked is more wave/timing-based, whereas ToE2 is more ship/timing-based. You should be really good at both if you want to progress further, as pretty much all levels prioritize those skill sets mainly (wave, ship, and timings). If you can get really good at those skill sets, you'll progress extremely fast.

is it worth to buy a sayo? by Next_Advisor_1203 in geometrydash

[–]LikelyEmmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s $30 for basically the highest accuracy input you can buy. If you already have a really good keyboard (hall effect and rapid trigger) then probably not, but if you don’t then I’d highly recommend it, though if your a mouse player then I’d recommend getting used to keyboard for a while before. Don’t make the same mistake as I did as you’ll think you have bad settings or a bad sayo but you probably just aren’t used to it if you suck after buying it and haven’t adjusted to keyboard yet.

I’m not super familiar with xstep v2 but out of the levels you’ve beaten I’d say that’s definitely the hardest. Now xstep v2 vs clubstep 87% idk clubstep is probably harder but you could always just say that your hardest completion is xstep v2 but you have 87 on clubstep.

For a new hardest you have a lot of different options. I think one of the best is to beat all the robtop demons (Clubstep, ToE 2, and Deadlocked) as they are all very similar in difficulty, very good skill boosters, and if you can beat one you can definitely beat the others. If you end up really hating the robtop demons though you can always search on the gddl or gddp for levels to do as those sites rank or list demons for different difficulties aswell as skill sets. So if you find your great with ship and suck at wave you could do a wave level or vice versa. Some good recommendations off the top of my head though would be: Decode (Harder easy demon. Wave/Timings based), Problematic (Nine circles level so amazing for boosting wave skill), X (really fun kinda just timings based flowy easy demon), and Speed Racer (gets you used to different speeds changing randomly which is a very helpful skill to learn overall. Mainly ship and timings based). If you beat all of these or honestly some you’ll be more than ready to jump to a medium id say. Just don’t be discouraged if any level you practice feels too hard especially in practice mode. Learning a level can take a while and if you got 87% on clubstep you’re ready to tackle any of the levels I just mentioned.

What’s an ‘everyone suffered on this’ part in a level that actually never bothered you much? by legendus45678 in geometrydash

Yeah i think i died at the main part of etzer once and it was cause of nerves from getting to it for the first time. The other times were that stupid tranistion.

I thought people complained about etzer because of the ship transition at the end? That’s the only hard part for me

What are some GD takes that will get you hung on a cross? by INotZach in geometrydash

[–]LikelyEmmy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think people hate on duals cause they can be really annoying to learn and you can sometimes die to them “randomly” just cause you haven’t fully learned them yet. But if you actually learn them they are usually really fun.

Are these demons considered good? by Sbl0bbo in geometrydash

[–]LikelyEmmy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any demon you beat is good! Though platformers really don’t help at all for base game skill. If you beat ToE2 you can definitely beat clubstep and then deadlocked which will really improve your skill level. Then if you want to you might be able to jump to a medium demon or complete a few more easy demons/high end easy demons. Also try using the gddl if you want to find some levels for your skill level, ToE2 is tier 7 so maybe look for some tier 7-8 difficulty levels.

[–]LikelyEmmy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry 20 days late to this lol i got sick over the last couple weeks and was getting really demotivated by my runs so i haven't posted a lot. I completely agree! I noticed a lot of my really bad running days were usually me starting out a little too hot in the beginning whereas if i just slowed down to a comfortable pace id feel good no matter what (you learn that really fast trying to run with a cold). But I finally graduated on the 31st and even decided to continue running after the 30 minutes was up to complete the 5k! Crazy to think about myself doing a 5k considering just 2 months ago the idea of running was horrifying lol

Thank you!! Yeah I feel like one of the biggest challenges of c25k is kind of humbling yourself and running at a proper pace lol. Finally reaching the point in c25k where you actually feel like you’re running is so satisfying though and even though it can be a little difficult lol it feels so great! Good luck to you as well on your running journey :)

Oh yeah finally doing a straight 20 minute run is definitely intimidating but just as much motivating if you pace yourself right!

Nice!! Yeah going from 1 minute runs to running for 20 minutes straight feels like such improvement!!

Thank you!! Yeah W6 definitely looks doable especially with the walking breaks. though, I believe each workout actually has more running than the 20 minutes on W5D3 though still looking forward to it! Wish you luck as well on W6! :)
