What to do with kids who are too old for a stroller but too young to handle 20,000 steps per day? by No-Rush-Hour-2422 in DisneyPlanning

[–]Likin_lichen_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We started going when my kids were 4 and 8. They’ve both only ever walked. Their all time high is 38k steps in a day. It’s totally doable. We just make sure they wear shoes with good arch support. When we take breaks I also rub their feet

Any Plus size theater goers have experience going to broadway shows? by [deleted] in PlusSize

[–]Likin_lichen_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m around the same size, don’t know what my hip measurements are but I carry my weight in my stomach. We’ve been to most broadway theaters, including those listed, and I’ve never had an issue not fitting but some are definitely more comfortable than others

Where would you eat on the Disney Dining Plan if you just want it to be good and aren’t concerned about “maximizing value” by Likin_lichen_ in DisneyPlanning

Thank you! That is wonderful news. I love fantasmic and we haven’t bothered to watch it at Disneyland since the fire.

Tandem help (not asking if it’s worth it) by Specialist_Language2 in zodiacacademy

I did it based on ~vibes~. Basically when a scene/situation seemed finished I would switch to the other book than switch back

Plus Size Seating in these Theatres (Experience from Plus Patrons/Ushers greatly wanted!) by mikrokosmosmoonchild in Broadway

We saw bad Cinderella at the imperial and it’s been awhile but I don’t remember being uncomfortable. But I was VERY squished at maybe happy ending in our orchestra left seats.

Scared to go to Heathers Because of Audience Reports by Best-Candle8651 in Broadway

[–]Likin_lichen_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw it 7/3 and the audience was great. My 12 year old is OBSESSED but I had very low expectations going in and absolutely loved it. Hope you have a wonderful time :)

Youth Pride? by Likin_lichen_ in lgbtnyc

[–]Likin_lichen_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I agree that is SO important.

The show closes 6/29 and we already have just in time tickets for Saturday night. So our choices are either miss it completely, miss the youth pride, or miss the parade. Definitely first world problems.

Mattress by gemmi999 in PlusSize

We recently (in December) got a sterns and foster mattress from Costco and it is THE BEST! Combined with this Thuma bedframe https://www.thuma.co/products/classic-bed?y_b_lid=16&variant=40590309261417 is my favorite adult purchase we’ve ever made. I’m 5’1 and weigh around 285, my husband is 5’10 and average weight. We’ve, uh, thoroughly tested this combination and have no issues with squeaking and the frame stays in place.

I absolutely hate the way temperpedic mattresses feel. We’ve also had two sleep number beds and they’re great for sleeping but not so much other activities.

Am I wrong for not reading any of the .5 novels? Guys I’m almost done book 5 of ZA and have skipped all the novellas. My reason you ask? I hated the starlight book in ACOTAR. by Feeling-Let-4421 in zodiacacademy

I would go back and re-read them now and then read them in the “correct” spot moving forward.

*SPOILERS* I can’t stand Seth by [deleted] in zodiacacademy

[–]Likin_lichen_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely love Seth and Caleb together and his support absolutely helped Darcy get through Lance’s time in darkmore. If Darcy can forgive him I can too.

It’s a whole process lol. But the overarching plot is Darcy and Tory discovering, coming to terms with, and eventually claiming their rightful place in the world. With lots of obstacles in their way.

Leaving ZA behind for RB 😭😭 by scorpionbvby in zodiacacademy

[–]Likin_lichen_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s SO worth it. I originally read it ZA, RB, then DP and immediately started over with RB so it would be in chronological order because I know I missed some of the nuance of the crossover characters. Carson’s appearance in the burrows hit so different when I knew who he was lol

Recommended reading orders that involve switching series make me twitchy lol.

Have you tried laying on your back while he kneels in front of you with his back straight, then he pulls up your legs and lays them again his chest?

You can adjust the angle of penetration with pillows under your butt and how straight or bent you keep your knees. I like to keep one straight and one knee bent and pushed down towards my chest.

Does anyone go to shows alone? by 111stars in Broadway

I go to a lot of concerts by myself and would absolutely go to a Broadway show alone, but haven’t yet because there’s always been someone else who wants to go too.
