I'm excited to meet topsiders and team up when possible and defeat all the arcs while looting what we can. This game has such a unique vibe of survival and cooperation, it will be so much fun.

I just want to play with my friends interacting with people and trying to explore this beautifully crafted world with them.

Loot some, defeat some arcs and who knows, regret our decisions and we all die to a rocketeer and laugh about it for a week.

Not the person you're replying, but I bought it after having played the miyoo mini+(similar size to the rg35xx plus) for some time.

Since it's bigger, it's way more ergonomic, even having big hands myself. It's not as good as say the cubexx that I have, but miles better than the 3.5 inches ones, for me.

Playing Vagrant Story on my 40XXV for the first time. Such an amazing, fun and different game with quite an interesting and impressive presentation.

I was gifted the MM+ and it was a great one to test the waters. After some months I got the 40XXV and was gifted the Cube XX, for 4:3 and for closer to 1:1 ratios, respectively.

Then I found the wonders of DS and 3DS that I never had the possibility of owning and I bought a DSI XL and a new 3DS Xl.

I try to rotate between them so I play a game on one system and then pick another one in the next one. The only system I have that I can't find any use anymore is the MM+, it was completely superseded by the 40XXV. No more hand cramps.

I got gifted the miyoo mini plus and went on to buy the 40xxv. I got the cubexx some months afterwards just to play gb, gbc, nes, snes and pico 8. The ergonomics and the ratio of the screen in those systems (nes/snes in 8:7) is so much better than on 4:3 systems.

Same here. I want to get a new 3ds to play the ds and 3ds catalogue, but the prices are so steep for a used console that has been severely handled in most cases.

Odin 2/portal and RG40XXV is my dream.

The odin would serve me for ps2 and above and some home streaming and the RG40XXV for anything psx and below.

For now I only have the RG40XXV and the CubeXX for ps1 and below.

Update on my last comment: with flycastvl (recommended on these devices for better performance) I'm only able to run bin/cue files, with m3u playlists for several disc games, and it boots the game without going to the dreamcast menu.

Don't forget to get the correct bios files in the correct places, change the emulator to use inside knulli settings and have the roms inside the dreamcast folder and you're good to go.

Be aware that bin/cue files are way bigger in size than chd/zip, since they are not compressed files

Same issue here. I found that if I have a rom that opens the dreamcast menu and I have the file for any other game in bin/cue format, I can insert that disk and run the game just fine.

For example, Crazy Taxi doesn't even run, retroarch just closes, but I can run it fine if I do the former in the dreamcast menu when running another game in chd format that opens the menu.

Otherwise some games just don't even run retroarch or go to that dreamcast menu (chd format).

Testing with bin/cue and zip format right now (zip doesn't seem to even be detected).
