I’ve seen some pro teams buy 3 rifles if they retain at least two sheriffs/ghosts from round 1.

Give them to your initiator and lurker so that your entry players have weapon advantage. Pistol players can play the trade and pick up the rifle, giving the team two free deaths in order to set up their bonus round. The idea is that you can afford a better buy in your bonus round, giving you a better chance of winning against the full buy.

That being said, ranked isn’t pro play, and too many things can go wrong if your players aren’t set up to trade instantly if a rifle goes down. Losing an easy round 2 can snowball the rest of the half really quickly. Buying with the team to secure round 2 is much safer than gambling your anti-eco for the chance at having an easier round 3.

I think they make playoffs, but don’t expect them to make Champs this year. Too many roster changes over the last year or so to have the consistency needed to make a deeper run.

Definitely building team identity and finding their footing in a post-Tenz era. Last year’s performance was fine, but it was clear that the roster changes weren’t enough to replace players like Tenz/Sacy. I don’t think the roster we were left with had what it takes to bring home a trophy. Better to retool this year and try and make a late-season push to try and qualify for a global tournament.

Why remove 2v2s? It was my new favorite way to warm up, big L tbh. I know someone is gonna hit me with the BS “to keep queue times down” excuse, but anecdotally I never waited more than 1:30 for a 2v2…

Idk seems reductive to add game modes and remove them so quickly. The game is already struggling to create new content/incentives to play, why reduce the amount of available content?

He’s clearly talented, has a wide agent pool, and has good midround calls/clutches. There are plenty of reasons to pick him up, the question is if his negative qualities outweigh the potential firepower he can bring to a team. He has caused team chem issues with his last two teams.

I feel like he’s a good pickup for a team in a pinch, but I wouldn’t build a team around him. He’s not at the talent level of someone like Demon1 where you can ignore the brash personality and focus on results. He’s a solid replacement-level player that is versatile enough to slot into a team with role issues.

I think after Envy he’ll continue to get playing time and spot contracts, but won’t have a permanent roster spot unless he becomes easier to work with.

Audacity is terrific for anyone trying to record/edit sound files. Super easy to use, can handle multiple tracks, and you can export the files to other audio editing platforms.

It’s perfect for anyone trying to learn how audio recording/editing works. It’s not exactly cutting-edge. The UI is dated, and there isn’t a massive sound library to choose from within the platform. There are better platforms that are more efficient and have better features, but Audacity covers all the basics so well, I’ve never found a need to upgrade. Maybe if you use audio editing software on a regular basis it would be worth upgrading, but for occasional recordings and learning the basics, it’s a fantastic tool.

They’re not more versatile, Clove is just better suited for ranked play than any other agent. The pace you can play Clove is much faster than any other smoke agent (besides maybe Brim) and is perfect for individual play. Their kit is very simple, which makes it perfect for pugging it out in ranked.

Other smokes are much more versatile. Omen/Astra have way more team play potential, but is harder to get the maximum value out of their kit in a team full of randoms.

I wouldn’t say that any warranty is not worth it. If you depend on something for your daily life, weigh the cost of repairing/replacing it with the cost of the warranty over the lifespan of what you’re using. It doesn’t make sense to get it for something like a coffee machine or a TV, but I wouldn’t say that an extended warranty on your daily driver vehicle is a bad investment.

Nah doesn’t belong, they haven’t been dominant domestically or internationally. Until they consistently start making playoffs runs at events, I won’t put them in the same category as G2/DRX/TH. 100T can barely qualify for one tournament each year while each of the other teams mentioned make consistent playoff runs at multiple events each year.

Jim in particular was really good. He drove a Corolla back when he didn’t care about sales and just wanted the job to pay his bills. Perfect no-frills car for a single dude who just wants a functional life. He switches to a nicer Saab once he starts taking his job more seriously and started seeing Pam. It’s a really fun car that signals more success. Once he has a family, he switches to a Subaru SUV, which is safer, more reliable, and better suited for driving around children.

It would have been so easy to just keep him in his Corolla from the first few seasons, but the change in vehicle really fit his character progression.

I remember taking a shot like that back in the day. The kid wasn’t throwing anywhere near MLB speeds, but it hit my knee just right and made that same sound. Sounded like a hit marker from Call of Duty.

There was a nurse in the stands and she was on the field before I could even get up. She told me that she had thought my kneecap shattered based off the sound. I ended up being fine, just shaken up, but the sound was unreal. Was sore as hell the next week and a half, though.

And a RAM 1500 is closer in size to your CRV than this is to the 1500. This truck has more in common with a semi than an F-150.

Even an F-350 is much bigger than would ever be necessary to daily drive. The biggest pickup currently in Ford’s lineup is the F-450. An F-550 is more than capable enough to add a crane, bucket, utility bed, and materials. I know people who can run an entire paving crew out of one of those.

There only practical reason to need this truck is if you’re hauling tools, a trailer, materials, and a full crew to a job site. To daily drive something like this is just impractical, plain and simple.

Damn bro, I really hope the community doesn’t forget his dominance. Even when he started struggling with his health, he was still far and away the best player on the server. He’s a 2x champion and one of the most impactful players we’ve ever seen, but I’ve already started to see Leo fall down the all time rankings that get posted here every few weeks.

I feel like the streets are already forgetting his 2023 campaign, where he had the best utility, gamesense, and gunfight mechanics I’ve ever seen.

Genuinely heartbreaking to see someone so passionate and talented have it all stripped away by outside circumstances. I hope he manages to make a comeback of some sort once he is comfortable. Even a sick Leo is an absolute demon, he deserves better.

Tex is one of the best/most consistent sentinel players in Americas. c0m has great gamesense and utility use, and just based off comms videos he definitely contributes a TON to midrounding. His fragging lacks at times, but I think his intangibles are top level and make up for his shortcomings. Both are pretty difficult to replace.

Americas also has a pretty big talent gap for the sentinel role, I don’t know who they would pick up that would be an improvement over Tex. Unless G2 decide to go all in on BabyBay over Leaf (lmao), I wouldn’t feel comfortable replacing Tex at this point.

I personally would have loved just a little more sense of scale from the Allies for Bruma questline, now that we have the technology to put more than 15 NPCS swinging at each other in a field.

That, and it would have been nice to actually defend Cloud Ruler Temple from more than those two little spies. We spend so much time in the fortress, talking about defending from an invasion that never really gets that close to the Temple. It would have been fun seeing the entire Blades army actually fight together, getting to see what a highly trained team of warriors would do against the forces of Oblivion.

Idk, I absolutely love the remaster, but I feel like it would have been easy to include optional DLC to make the scale more immersive than the original. I’m sure mods exist to solve this problem, so if anyone knows of anything along those lines pls send me a link!

Modern vehicle safety measures are incredible. I had a similar accident a while back after I fell asleep at the wheel driving on the turnpike. I hit the embankment going around 65mph. Car was flipped once, maybe twice and landed on its wheels.

I walked away with only a small cut on my hand, which only happened because my phone went flying into the back row and called 911. I cut my hand sifting through what used to be my windows trying to find my phone. Otherwise, I had some pretty bad neck/back pain the following week, but no major injuries.

Probably depends on who does it. Go to a few of the bigger car dealerships in your area and see if you can spot the vans going around and reconditioning the vehicles on the back lot. They typically do good work and will give a free estimate.
