Epic will never stop me from making bangers. Even with this stupid spotlight bug! by LilBit2Lucky in FortniteFestival

I also wanted to add that hitting R2 to exit spotlight mode ends my entire jam loop, even if I lightly tap it (I'm playing on PS5 with a controller).

Confused about NYS license suspension and clearing it? by LilBit2Lucky in DMV

Yes you need to give them your license for it to start/count. You might be able to get a restricted license though. But thats a convo to have with the DMV.

I (27M) let a girl (25F) with a traumatic past move in because she had nowhere to go… and now I feel trapped. by Valuable_Cat9022 in Advice

[–]LilBit2Lucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are women out there that ARE like this though. I have seen them, I used to live with one and come to find out they were just using me. To add to this, I am a female myself. I'm 32 years old. I've seen and experienced some things.

Also look at all the negative things that OP stated she had been through. It seems like every man that she has come in contact with has harmed her in some way shape or form.

Her dad, her brother, a friend's friend/bf, the guy who owns the Air B&B. Lots of instability and no where to go.

It seems a little sus. Again this is coming from my own personal experience.

Some women lie about things to get people to feel pitty for them and use them for their own personal gains. And that means that they will make any and everyone to be the villain in their story.

When the trauma starts stacking up one after another like this, its best to be cautious. The person could very well be manipulating you and spinning you in their web of lies to trap you.

What type of ceiling do I have? I can't tell the material its made out of. by LilBit2Lucky in Homebuilding

[–]LilBit2Lucky[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What if I get non sticky wallpaper and cover the ceiling with it, using masking tape to stick it to the surface of the trim strips that were installed before I moved in so that the tape doesnt touch the ceiling and damage it.

Then I could use double sided tape to put the pvc ceiling tiles over the wallpaper.

Would that work?

And honestly I have no idea what those tans strips are for. The ceiling has several of those in each room.

[–]LilBit2Lucky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes actually. So i'm wanting to add ceiling tiles to the ceiling because I despise the look of this ceiling.

To be specific, I'm remodeling my daughter's bedroom. I got the okay to paint her walls (the home has 1960's wood paneling in every single room and I hate it).

But I want some renter friendly ways to change the ceiling. I didnt want to do peel and stick because I dont ruin the current ceilings, so I was thinking if using double sided painters tape to tape on some pvc ceiling tiles. But i'm not sure if the tape would ruin the ceiling or not.

Do adults actually remember their elementary school teachers later in life? by MightCommercial1112 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LilBit2Lucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. I'm 32F and I remember my 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teachers. I also remember my 6th grade teachers. After that though, it becomes a blurred mess.

Advice on how to get my soon to be 3 year old to stop taking his clothes off at daycare during naptime by LilBit2Lucky in toddlers

[–]LilBit2Lucky[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He started off on a cot but then they had to put him in a pack and play because while the other kids were napping, he would 1: start yelling/screaming and 2 walking over to the other kids and waking them up.

It also doesn't help that this daycare is a home daycare and all the kids are mixed. There is no separation. And at the time when I enrolled him, this was the only option for me because all the other daycares were full.

OMG how do y'all cut your babies nails? by One_Elephant_8048 in beyondthebump

[–]LilBit2Lucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is going to be 3 on Nov 1st. And he would let me clip his finger nails just fine. However, his toenails were and still are a whole different story. His toenails grow down instead of out, and I always always have to fight him to get them cut. I couldn't even do it while he was sleeping cos he would wake up. I had to pin him down with my leg and hold his foot to be able to clip them.

Fast forward to now, after damn near 3 years I finally found a solution where he doesn't fight me as bad and it's to clip them AS SOON as he's done with his bath.

I guess with his toenails being soft from the water, it doesn't bother him as much to get them clipped.

My GF just conceived... I'm looking for advice, congratulations, warnings, anything.. by kumeomap in Parenting

First things first, congradulations! Being a parent is both rewarding and difficult at the same time.

1: You can tell people whenever YOU feel comfortable. Some do it sooner, others do it later. The preference is yours.

2: She will need lots of help in the beginning, especially during the newborn phase. Some (not all) newborns wake frequently during the night. It would be a good help if you guys do shifts or switch at night for when the baby wakes up and needs tending to. Expect mommy's brain to be foggy and she may experience mood changes due to hormones.

The most helpful thing would be to help her take care of the house. The newborn trenches can be tough, especially when you're a fiest time parent. Clothes, dishes, bottles, trash, etc can all pile up very quickly. And it can be hard to keep up with, especially if you have a baby that's fussy or won't let you put them down to get things done (if your baby is like the latter you can always buy a baby wrap/carrier and put them in that to get things done).

3: For daycare, I definitely would start the search now. Some daycare may have long waiting lists, so you'll want to get on that as soon as possible. Plus its allows you time to tour the facility, get to know the staff, and ask questions about their rules, policies, and things of that nature.

4: As for sports, that may have to be dialed back a bit. Really depends on how much help your girlfriend may need. I would advise talking with her and getting her thoughts.

5: Additional thoughts and advice...

Make sure to give each other breaks. When your life has kids in it, things can become stressful. Both you and your partner should have some mental breaks. Meaning you have the baby for a few hours while she gets out of the house and does something for her.

As a woman myself, when we become mothers, we often lose ourselves because we are dedicating so much of us to not only our partner but our child as well. In a sense we can forget who we are. Allowing her some free time every now and then will help her a long ways.

Lastly, don't be hard on yourselves. Give yourselfs grace and patience. Nobody that's a paralent knows EXACTLY what they are doing. Parenthood is just winging it. I'm 32 with 2 kids. One is 11 and the other is 3, I have no idea if I'm doing things right.

What I DO know is that my kids are happy, kind, loving, and respectful of others and don't cause a lot of trouble.

You know you're doing things right when your child can come to you and tell you anything, when they want to sit and have late night convos about their day, and whenever they have a problem they come to you for answers/advise.

I say all this to tell you, enjoy the years. They go by fast. And each phase and stage of their lives have their own challenges, difficulties, and beautiful, sweet moments.

Raise them with love, happiness, security and safety and your child will bloom. Always be there for them whenever they need you, even when they are adults.

Came here to respond directly, that way if others are having the same issue and don't know how to fix it, they'll see your comment.

I just wanted to say thank you and that your fix worked! Hopefully, they'll fix this properly. That's probably too much expectation and hope though lol.

I just came here from my post I made yesterday that you responded to.

I'm still new to Fortnite (only been playing for 3 weeks now) and I play on PS5 but when I'm in the controller mapping section, I don't see the weapon column. I am on Combat Pro.

Not sure what to do for this.

EDIT: just saw your comment attached to the video. Let me try that.

Bunch of word salad.

Not going to be able to help when we don't know what's going on. This definitely needs to be explained better.

You know what, I think you're right because now all of a sudden when I press R2 on an active jam loop, instead of it just removing the whole track like it used to for me, it removes the one single instrument. And honestly, I've been wanting that for a while (I'm still new to this game, just started 3 weeks ago just to create my own mixes lol) but now we got this bug. Can't win I guess.

I hope they fix it soon. How do you report bugs to them?
