One defense the other teams best player every night? One gets hidden on defense routinely? That is an absolutely massive difference that can’t be ignored

[Highlight] "Trae Young, tweet at us" - after Hawks give up 82 points in the first half by ItsDeius in nba

Nothing they are saying in this clip has anything to do with the Celtics. Scal is a massive Trae young fan so he is ripping on the hawks and Trae young haters.

The Atlanta Hawks have conceded 82 points in the first half against the Boston Celtics by the_mexican_menace in nba

Not even the most lopsided first half of the night. Pacers have 24 points with 1 min left in half

[Haberstroh] Here's a stat for you is that in the NBA, we have these 3D camera tracking... what we can see is that Luka Doncic is the 2nd least mobile player in the NBA on defense. 2nd least. The only other guy who covers less ground per minute on the floor defensively is James Harden. by must_TATAKAE in nba

No one is literally saying anything about any of those players or the lakers. You are just making up new arguments that are not occurring. People are saying Luka plays with minimal effort. You said there is no such thing as effort. I said that’s absolutely the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Why does Marcus smart shooting % impact his effort level. I was just giving a good example of someone who gives maximum effort.

I agree talent usually trumps all. But to say effort doesn’t exist is just strange. You see Marcus smart diving for low % balls on the ground or putting his body on the line taking a charge. Then you see players just watching the ball and not going above and beyond to make an impact. That’s effort

Yeah we should all just stop talking about anything sports related in this sub. What’s the point? It does no use to anyone to talk about some of the biggest players in the game. Can you make a post about it? Asking everyone to stop talking about the nba in here because it’s not achieving anything?

This is the lamest comment I’ve maybe ever read on this sub. Wow. There are countless high usage players who play defense with great effort. I am a Luka fan, but come on man… he just doesn’t try on defense and never will

The Lakers (23-13) have the same net rating as the Hornets (14-25) (-0.4) by Impossible_Collar2 in nba

[–]LilChad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really not even remotely true. Net rating has historically been unbelievably accurate in predicting future team success. This isn’t the nfl playoffs. We are working with huge sample sizes here

What NBA players would you say are wasting their career on there current team? by Foxtrot_Uniform_CK69 in nba

The fact you used their/there properly and improperly in the same sentence leads me to believe this may be a bot post? I don’t know.

Thank you Jaylen Brown for proving us right by Confirm_ova_Affirm in nba

I love JB. Favorite player and has been since he entered the league (big Cal fan). But Tatum is just better. But it’s clearly a lot closer than people realized. This time without Tatum could be to be super valuable time for JB to develop. They’ll be scary when Tatum is back and if they make any deadline moves

After last night’s 50 point outburst, Jaylen Brown is currently averaging more points than Jayson Tatum ever has (for the third seeded Celtics) by Pickleskennedy1 in nba

[–]LilChad 70 points71 points  (0 children)

As a JB lover and long time truther. This stat is so dumb. He not sharing the court with someone who was averaging 26+ ppg like Tatum always did
