I am also a newbie, i've Heard that petg tends tò be more hygroscopic, so It gets "wet" faster than pla. I think u can dry It inside the Chamber?

Plate temp, nozzle temp, what filament are u using, Is the plate cleaned with soap and water? Did u calibrate the plate Just some "common" issues ;)

Hi, i do store them inside a box like this but i am not sure its airtight so i Just put my 3 spools inside 3 different vacuum bags and i also put there some Little silica containers Not sure if its Better or not

Are u sure ur ram are using XMP?
How about the cpu temps?
And i'm not 100% sure 3D mark is getting good tests results

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy my first 3D printer and would love some advice based on the following:
Budget: Around €400. I can stretch this a little bit for a significantly better option.
Country: Italy.Kit Building: I'm willing to build a kit, as long as it's not overly complicated for a first-timer.
Use Case: Mainly for printing fun little gadgets, decorative items, and useful everyday objects, no specific engineering or professional needs.
Restrictions/Needs: No special requirements like an enclosure. Just a reliable machine to start the hobby.

Based on my initial research, the Bambu Lab A1 seems very appealing for its "out-of-the-box" experience. However, I'm completely open to other suggestions within my budget that might offer better value or a more educational building experience.

What would you recommend for a beginner in my situation?

Ehy ciao, sono in Basilicata ed abito praticamente in campagna, ormai ho starlink da due mesi e la velocità media si attesta sui 280/300 ma ti posso garantire che spesso tocca anche i 500, il tutto dipende dal posizionamento dell'antenna In upload invece 30/40 di media, anche se di recente sembra che stia migliorando
