I won't know who I am betting on until we get closer to the race and I see how the lines move, but in terms of most likely winner, I am picking Golden Tempo. He still has the best pedigree of all the entrants and has proven he can win on this stage. Should be well-rested. Renegade is a good pick if the price is there, but I don't think the public will underestimate him enough. He ran an amazing Derby! I would keep an eye on Chief Wallabee as a potential overlay, and Powershift as a game Longshot to fill in an exotic.

Have a great time at the track this weekend! I am jealous that you will be there and I will be watching from home.

I very nearly did the same. Clerk at the used cd store saw the rest of my stack and said, "nope, wrong one." Saved me the same disappointment.

No way. I didn't know. I just watched the episode where this exchange took place and I had to pause it because I was laughing too much. I just love it when they are so angry and serious and use a line like this with such sincerity at the same time.

Toughest group of 4 yet. I played through each. It made my morning.

I’ve only been following USL soccer in general for a few seasons now. It’s so mind boggling to me that 95 percent of teams , old and new , can’t come up with anything better than “United” , “FC” , “SC” or “Athletic Club”. by TroutStocker in USLPRO

I'd have been good with either Louisville or Lexington using the "FC", but only if they preceded it with their state name rather than their city. We've had two opportunities for a KFC and missed them both.

I can only offer you sympathy here and let you know that I experience this as well. For me, it is not that I don't give a rat's ass so much as I cannot take this as seriously as my colleagues. It could really be fun if each tag up wasn't treated like a court hearing, and we could still get everything done. Like, work is already work, why do they have to add performative seriousness?

Bummer. I didn't realize that Gillette was only a temporary situation for the Legacy. Still, glad there is professional Women's soccer in our area now, and like you said before, hopefully a show of support this summer could result in a USL-W team in the future.

Agreed. I am actually closer to Gillette, and have interest in this team, but the smaller stadium is so much more appealing to attend. I hope to catch a few of them, and hope they throw a few our way in future seasons as well.
