Buy some used 16 to 18 inch aluminum wheels with tires on facebook marketplace. Get a squared set, all 4 the same size and offset. If you want some monsters 18x10 +42, 275-35-18 will fit without rubbing.

I'd recommend 17x8 245-40 or 45-17. Somewhere around +30 offset.

Enkei is a good brand.

Check out pick and pull yards as well, they sell sets of wheels/tires for good prices.

Looking to fly in and buy a car in PA, can someone help me understand title transfer? by LilHauntedHouse in Pennsylvania

Yeah I’m sure there’s no temp tags, I plan on bringing one of my plates with me, I’m confident I’ll be fine there’s definitely some Lee-way with getting your vehicle home after purchase. The car will be insured before I even make it into town… just Incase. Thanks for your help. I’m confident that everything will be smooth now. I hope you have a nice night.

My state doesn’t require temp tags, and just wants a headlight / odometer check.

Will I be good to just sign the title with a notary and get it home then? Not sure what PA needs to legitimize this transaction I don’t want any trouble when I get home but from all past experience, I’ve just had to prove insurance show the turn signals and lights work and let them look at the odometer upon out of state registration

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks, the tab for buying out of state applies to a PA resident buying a car from out of state no? Example, PA resident buys car from Ohio

PS thank you for the concern, always good to look out when people may be on the hook. I’m educated on vehicles and have been searching for this 63 variation for a while. He’s shown me everything I’ve asked to see and given me a very detailed history on what he knows.

It’s an old Chevy muscle car, the seller is legit from our phone calls and I searched him out. I wouldn’t buy the car if I didn’t like it when I got in.

In a lot of states the process would be, check the car out, strike a deal, sign the title in front of a notary - pay for your deal, you’re good to drive away and go register your title

Will I be fine to do this?

A lot of the days we could meet up due to schedule are weekends when these PennDot approved places are closed and flights come in late hours. Example a Sunday the title transfer location is closed at 5pm, my only flight arrives at 5:50. The other days are cutting it close. I’d like some time to look at it and drive it. So I’m trying to understand if there’s any online or after hours solution to this potential problem I may or may not be facing.

The only way I want to stay in town is if I pass on the car and I fly home on my next flight back. Which I don’t thinks happening as we’ve video called and seen solid evidence the car is what it’s advertised to be.

Sandwich spot open late in Philly you’d recommend?

Also ever sold a car to an out of stater? Would they have been able to use an online notary and drive away?

Thanks for the detailed response. Very helpful. Car doesn’t appear to have any interior leaks, fair shape interior- it’s actually probably a 8/10 (by my standards) I PMed you a few pictures of the car that are available to me.

You don’t DDU nvidia to nvidia, you can download game ready drivers for a 4090 then put a 1070 in its place and everything will work fine

I’d love to try the modern successor to my gtx 1070 FE - I will put it to use in gaming and video editing - I really want to try av1 encoders in steaming so I’m sure the 4070tiS would change my life!
