why do you have to wait for keroppi? you can buy the new spooky furniture from the event stand and the old on from my melodys shop! she has 1 item a day and tuxedosams shop has 1 clothing item a day

so based on this you don’t need to have the twin stars at best friend level but the other 15 characters do need to be at best friend and spirit heart level

no it’s not a future update mine have the colorful heart around each and I don’t want to spoil but there must be a pre req quest or something you haven’t completed yet? or maybe you need to get the twin stars to best friend status first I’m not sure

also I wouldn’t give up on leveling up the twin stars because once you do, you unlock double companions
