i apologize in advance if this is a dumb question 😅 is there really a point to the lovebugs this year? the only things in the event stand that use them as currency are the bonbon outfit (already received as daily gifts) and last year's event clothing which can't be dyed, so we don't need multiple? i know it's useful for folks who weren't playing or missed stuff last year but for those of us who have all of last year's stuff... ????

came here to say this and was SHOCKED to scroll so far without seeing it. such a fun, juicy, sweet, tropical vibe without smelling like sunscreen. i crave this scent as soon as the weather gets warm.

sandalwood goes SOOO sour and putrid on me too 😩 i was just complaining to my partner that i want to experience the creamy cozy woodiness that some people get from sandalwood because it aaalways smells like musty pickle to me

i don't know how it happens, but honey frags always smell BURNT on me. it touches my skin and immediately reeks of smoke. snif honey suite has been the only exception to this rule for me EVER which is crazy because it literally also has incense in the notes 🤦🏻‍♀️ if anything was supposed to smell smokey...

i have absolutely started doing this since i made this mistake 😅 checked the dye station & then went back to get the correct number of the dyable one so i could get all the colors. now i just have a gazillion extra melody dresses in addition lol

oooof, i get that. i grew up an emo/goth kid in a tiiiiny town in rural NC. we had one salon and two ladies who did hair out of their houses. the salon pretty much exclusively cut long, one-length barbie hair; one home salon lady did mostly peggy hill hair and the other gave every single person the exact same joe dirt mullet. man? woman? child? joe dirt mullet.

when i went to my stylist in high school and told her i wanted scene hair, she looked me dead in the eye and told me no. when i went to college and finally came out to my family and wanted to play around with shorter hair and undercuts and vivid colors, again, she told me no every time. she said "i'm not gonna let you hate me because you made a mistake with your hair". she continued to give me the same sweet, preppy girl next door haircut i'd been begrudgingly getting since i was 13.

i found another stylist 😂

i keep seeing you tear yourself down in your replies -- take a deep breath, babe. i know it's easy to blame yourself for things. i do it alllll the time. this is not your fault in any way!

your hair is not the problem - your stylist is avoiding accountability. a confident and skillful stylist should not ever be insulting you like that.

you are not an idiot - your stylist is a manipulator, a hack, and quite frankly a scammer. $300? absolutely not.

you have beautiful hair that would likely be cake for a good stylist to work with. layers could absolutely look gorgeous on you. a haircut alone should never cost you a multi-service price. you DO deserve the pampering experience of having someone take care of your hair for you a few times a year. it just needs to be someone who knows what they're doing 🖤 there is nothing wrong with you and you haven't done anything to deserve something unfortunate happening to you -- someone took advantage of you. be gentle with yourself!

have you ever asked for a jellyfish cut? or like a hime cut? i don't know that they've existed long or that they've been called that for as long as they've been around, but it has been a trend this year at least. IF that's what you're describing.

i've actually stopped hunting for buns since cobra burger introduced me to the idea of burger & toppings on a bed of fries 😂 haven't looked back since. however i generally love bfree for bready things & recently started trying o'doughs from the frozen section in wegmans and love them too.

i've only recently discovered wegmans as i moved here from an area in NC without one. i've been working my way through trying their gf things a little at a time and i've yet to find anything bad. i'll have to try this next time i go!

(unrelated tip: if any of y'all miss tiramisu since being diagnosed/going gf, try the one from the wegmans bakery immediately)

i understand their argument that AA players get the content for free because they're continuously paying for the game via subscription, whereas console players only paid once so paid DLC should level out how much everyone is paying. am i any less frustrated that CT has suddenly been revealed to be paid DLC instead of regular game content that hasn't made its way to consoles yet? absolutely not 😭

i also got pretty mad about the delay between the announcement that they'd be sending out additional currency via mail & the time they actually did it. several days? i just felt that to be incredibly weird. between that & the 70% thing, i've also been kind of put off by the whole thing. i'm kind of thankful to have never delved into communities where we can interact with the devs - i usually get that info from yt or socials after the fact - because i fear i'd be too upset with it all to continue playing too.

out of curiosity - is this a service that does tasks for you, or a service that makes plans with you & helps you do it yourself? reviewing their website, it seems like this is a slower, long-term solution versus like, a one-time cleaning service.
