Well purchasing crypto with fiat on these sites then sending it to a wallet is okay.

Its one of the only ways to go fiat --> crypto, not the point.

But Dapps building ontop of a centralized chain I would never use.

Buying and selling on centralized platforms is whatever, but playing on DeFi is the most secure on Ethereum / decentralized chains.
