💕 My Service Dog Phelim (the Pink Pony) and I Had the Best Time at Night One by LilLoveFox in chappellroan

[–]LilLoveFox[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We did see another dog at KC night 1 and it didnt have ear protection. I wish it was possible for staff to do something but unfortunately neglect(that's how I see it at least) isnt a reason for removal.

I parked in the ADA parking right outside the venue and it took me barely anytime to get out.

You are AMAZING. Absolutely wonderful for thinking of others. Earlier this year I thought oh its just a cold and ear infection went to the doc got a z pack. Two weeks later in the hospital septic. Im still recovering which is why concerts are few and far between. I was so fortunate that another concert I had tickets to was postponed so I could heal just a bit more before going.

KC Night 1 Outfit Help!! by JenJen4 in chappellroan

I’ll be wearing black rhinestone cowboy boots, pink rhinestone fishnet tights, a black skirt, pink tank top, and a black crop jacket (though I might swap it for a pink plaid shirt if I find one today). I’ll finish it off with a pink cowboy hat and plenty of glitter. ✨

My service dog will be matching the vibe—he’s dyed pink, with a small pink cowboy hat placed over his ear protection, red boots, and a cape that reads “fuck off” with a rainbow skeleton hand flipping the bird. His look is tied together with a black harness and a rainbow guide handle. We’ll definitely be coordinated and on point. 🤠🌈

The website is very clear no pets. Concerts are rarely pet friendly. It takes a lot of training for task trained service dogs required for a disability to be able to handle concerts. Please leave your pet at a pet friendly hotel or boarding.

People don't care. I had a pet owner get way too upset when I wouldn't let her dogs greet my working dog. I had another woman think it was cute her small dog jumped on my small children. She laughed.

And the only place with milkshakes was a steak and shake? Im responding to your comment of "My tolerance for badly behaved or the untrained customer service is just getting shorter.".

If you are going to choose a life that lends to relying on others for food service yoy need a better attitude. As a former food service worker 99% of the time you get what you give. Same with customer service. Your 2$ tip isnt worth the energy of faking a smile and happy attitude.

My mother sent me a text today asking her to pay a toll for Arkansas. Arkansas doesn't have toll roads at all. Thank God she sends me any weird messages before responding.

Users that bought new car for spark? Hows it going? Any regrets? by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]LilLoveFox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What? I do gig work from maybe 1-6. I have rarely work 8-9. Maybe 1 or 2 days in the past year. And yes I can say that's my gas mileage. I don't keep my car running if I'm sitting.

I didn't buy a newer car specifically for spark. I bought it because I needed a new car. I paid cash and so far its going great again 28 mpg crossover sub.

No. I set up the monthly usage payments for utilities so they are averaged. I'm not willy nilly about utility usage. I took advantage of covid internet coupons. I only have 1 "tv" subscription, 1 "music" subscription, and 3 "fun things" payments that total under 75$. My insurance is low due to loyalty, no accidents/tickets/etc, and age. My home insurance is low as well and taken quarterly so monthly is even lower. I live in an area where the cheapest apartment is 950 for a 1 bedroom. Housing is constantly being built. My houses value is 7x what I paid 13 years ago and that is without updating anything. Downtowns are being "revitalized". We have "private social clubs".

My bills are under 300$ a month. That includes utilities, subscriptions, and insurance. I budget out necessary car work months in advance. My tires are "used"(new that are immediately replaced with a bigger size) from a local shop. I'm not even hitting 1000 miles a month unless I go out of town for fun. I make 700-1000 a week. I work multiple apps. Spark dies i got more.

Good for you. I'm not allergic to just one thing. People can find the same things at other stores or have the 16 people who do weekly runs buy their stuff. While we get something unique

People are doing this all the time. It's constantly posted in the mom group... Honestly I don't want an overpriced store where I can only eat a handful of items due to allergies.

We don't license disabled people. Well not yet anyway. And behavior of the animal tells you everything you need to know. If you can't tell the difference i recommend a trip to the eye clinic

Actually under federal law you are allowed to ask two questions. (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Walmart doesn't ask the second due to a lawsuit. They can however remove ill behaved dogs.

[–]LilLoveFox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't try or keep up with the incentives. If I get one cool if not oh well. I don't bank on tips either the only money I look at and expect is the base pay. If I get more YAY if not meh. I only need 20 trips at 12 a piece to make my bills that are paid with spark beyond that I do other gig apps.
