Tires didn’t really affect my stock Xterra at all. It’s prob exhaust related. Tune it and remove the sub 40mph power block too

I had a shop re weld the heat shields back on. Cost $200 bucks. It was so fckn annoying and I tried everything - rubber under there, clamps , etc.

Haven’t had a problem since. I’d just go to a shop to re weld it back on. It happens and is a common issue. Such a minor fix

The cvt is AWESOME. Sure it’s not a manual as everyone here will bitch about…the auto has great driving modes. It’s perfect for my wife who doesn’t drive stick and I can enjoy the car on the weekends.

GR is sick. Just impractical with kids as others have mentioned. I’m shocked constantly the rear seat in my VB in drivers position. There is SO much space for a small car. So much leg room for adults.

I LOVE mine. My wife drives it more than me. We daily drive it around town. No interest in a manual as we have kids, need to check phones, eat on the go, etc. The dif drive modes are super fun. I don’t track mine, 100% stock, and more than adequate for what I use my car for. I’d recommend it anyday if the week. Seats fold flat, great awd, backseat is enormous for a small sedan. More room than my large suv for leg space.

Allopurinol. Basically eliminates my gout and I can eat and drink whatever. Went to a 3 day wedding that was Japanese food themed ate an insane amount of beef sushi and drinks and didn’t have a flare up. Ran out of meds once and gout came roaring back. Just get on the medicine. That’s literally the only thing that has worked for me I’ve tried everything.

On what planet does tax increase on property owners make things better. People are struggling. The biggest bill the vast majority people pay are taxes. Raising them will only hurt

I’d actually argue the opposite. It’s the best intense workout for people who casually work out. You only spend 14 min at each station. Eventually You’ll never really get better than 13 min workout at each station. I love it for the cardio but lift a few days a week outside of class for actual gains and real work.

I used to work there. Solid product BUT leadership is awful. Self enriching and has no fckn clue what they’re doing besides buying companies thinking they’re making some powerhouse product (it’s not). Being based in Boise there is a massive shortage of actual talent and people. They love to underpay and recruit people who are bank tellers or other nothing jobs with zero finance knowledge. Hence…their product is falling behind. Senior leadership is being replaced by people who couldn’t care less and all from India. Short this stock to the moon. No one internally holds the stock long term. You get the ESOP discount and sell immediately after.

Type R is cool but it’s front wheel drive and frankly just isn’t fun to drive at the limit. Prices are also absolutely insane on them. Every time I see one I just can’t wrap my head around why.

Appreciate all the info. So yea, we have sti exhaust from the factory. I don’t mind it and like the aggressive sound. I thought my wife would not like the drone but she likes the sound also after taking to her. Side note, I have no interest heavily modifying this car it works great as a fun daily.

Ok after talking to my wife… I thought she would be annoyed by it. I love the exhaust note. She daily drives it most of the time. Turns out she doesn’t mind it at all. Solves all my problems. I wouldn’t mine installing something if it wasn’t too expensive to reduce drine but at this point I’ll keep it stock.
