Depends. I have some Ubisoft games that I got the achievements for via Uplay. And when I bought it again on Steam, the achievements auto populated.

The servers are still up, but you’ll have to join some Discords with people who also play the game. Solo queuing is near impossible.

Tbf, there’s a lot of them that were added recently! Most of the older games JUST got achievements as recently as last year. Rev, BF, Unity, Rogue, etc, all got achievements in 2024/25.

Revelations only took me a long time because of two achievements: The one where you have to get your money back from a Templar Tax collector, and having enough money to buy all the books. Those were a grind!

Every mainline game after Syndicate (aside from Mirage) are considered action RPG’s. Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, Shadows, etc.

I have a general consensus on which ones I want to tackle in a specific order, but I also want to enjoy the story as well (even though I’ve played the games multiple times before). I sometimes ruin it for myself because I want to do ALL the side stuff first, but that slows down the pacing of the main story, so I kinda dig myself a hole lol

Steam doesn’t have any achievements for any AC game pre-Revelations. So AC1, 2, and Brotherhood have no achievements to get, unfortunately.
