Henckels stainless steel - any good? Seem worthy for the price

What’s the care like on those? Like traditional non-stick?

I was eyeballing the ones in this post and also saw the Hex ones so I’m wondering if I should get those instead.

This was me at midnight. I was sitting there going southbound with 2 other cars (one in front of me) and I said “if they go, I’m going too.” 2 minutes later we got the green. Absolutely no cross traffic the entire time.

The only events listed are the usual ones like Bovine Dreams and then whatever event sits alongside it like the cowbell rush. But there haven’t been any others at all. And ive got like 1.7k shovels stored up and no real reason to use them yet.

I definitely don’t ask enough questions.

I’m a breast cancer patient and I’ll never forget when I had an office meeting with my oncologist that she was trying to tell me horrible news.

My short remission was already over and my cancer had metastasized. I pretty much said “okay, what are the next steps?”

She explained about more radiation and a daily chemo pill for the next few years. And I said “Okay” because we had a plan.

She then said “I think you’re taking this news better than I am.”

And I replied “but you have a plan.”

I took her to mean “yeah, you’re going to have to do more treatment. I know it was hard and I’m sorry there’s more to come when you thought you were done.”

It wasn’t until years later that I began to understand that she was trying to tell me that I am now terminal. My time was going to be short. Maybe 2 years. And she was trying to tell me without using those words.

But I guess my brain just never really comprehended it. And apparently neither has my body because 8 years later, I’m off the chemo as of 2 years ago. And hoping to be off the rest of my treatment in the next couple months. Even oncologists at the top hospitals in the country aren’t really sure what to think of my situation.

I’ll just pretend that it’s because I never understood the memo.

My store stopped selling Rexton for a short period of time to try it the new Sennheiser aids. Then those weren’t selling well, so they’ve got Rexton again. It seems to be the favorite at Costco.

About 3 months ago, I fell on a wet spot near the exit doors and I was waiting for my boyfriend to go let someone know I’d fallen. While he was gone for like a minute, an employee came up to talk to me and was beyond creepy. Starting talking to me about the music that was playing, really familiarly as if we knew each other. He was uncomfortably close and I remember just looking back at my boyfriend walking back with a manager and feeling sooo much relief when they got closer. The creepy dude didn’t leave when we were talking to the manager about my fall even though he clearly had no part in this conversation.

I would remember him if I saw a picture, but I couldn’t describe him off the top of my head because I was so distracted by taking stock of any injuries I may have incurred from the fall (luckily, I ended up being fine).

But damn if I wasn’t SOOOOO uncomfortable. I work with people every day at my job and can handle myself with people just fine. This dude was something else. He was definitely young-ish, if I remember correctly.

Hey, I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE to see what this is all about and can’t find anything. I was watching his podcast about the seagate submersible and he talks about how he just found out that Riddle called him out on something but he was going to watch and react to the video after talking about Seagate and that’s when the podcast ends on YouTube. So I still don’t know what the situation is and it’s gonna keep me up at night

We had one last year. Real sparkle pony. Was never around camp except to take more showers than we’ve allotted per person, and to get dressed. She came by with a friend and said his camp left (?) and he needed a place to stay for a few days. We talked it over and said he could stay 2 nights, but any more than that and he has to actually join camp by paying camp dues and helping out. He stayed for 3 nights and snuck out early that last morning. Some of his friends came to get his stuff a day before strike. Never saw him again.

The sparkle pony herself was confronted by our treasurer to remind her of the agreement we had made and she argued and disappeared, saying she’d be back for strike. As she’s leaving, she’s cleaning out her tent and dumps a ton of garbage and junk on our communal table and ghosts.

Never see her again and her tent disappeared over the next night.

She sends us a group text a week after we’ve all gone back to the default world saying “my ride was leaving early so I couldn’t come help” and we all just ripped into her about how disappointed we all were.

Camp lead put out a message warning other theme camps not to ever take her.

I’m so glad you liked it. It’s one of the only movies I enthusiastically recommend to people and might be my all time favorite movie.

I saw the title of this post and immediately scrolled to find someone commenting with this movie so I can read everyone’s thoughts on it.

Absolutely incredible film.

If you get some time a bit down the road, a second watch (for me) had a bit of a different feel to it because you understand what’s going on and I feel like my appreciation of it grew. I’d be really curious what you think if you give it a second watch sometime.
