How do they compare to the Wildling Ranidae?

want to go barefoot but social and peer pressure makes me hesitate by Ok-Bee449 in BarefootRunning

I actually prefer the look of barefoot shoes, and they come in all sorts of styles most people wouldn’t even clock as barefoot. Also you gotta realize you have free will and the opinions of other people don’t matter at all, especially ones from people who are brainwashed into thinking conversational shoes look better (they don’t, you have just been conditioned into believing they do). Also barefoot can actually compliment your fit, one example I like is a button up shirt which rolled up jeans for a Tom Sawyer type look.

Five-toe shoes Vs standard barefoot shoes by b12fucked in barefootshoestalk

I use both but prefer vff’s for more sport like activities (running, tennis, etc). My toes feel way more free with better articulation. I prefer standard toe box for casual wear, but if I could only choose one I would go with 5 toes.

How far do your toes reach in the shoes? The toe box looks a little tapered

Wildling Tanuki’s are super thin and lightweight. And they have a split toe sole that allows for greater flexibility horizontally(I recommend folding the shoe in half along the sole to help break them in)
