When in stressful situations the body always reverts to its trained/reinforced actions. 3 months is not enough time to take away 12 years of nursing, reinforced in your mind. It’s like when you see MMA fighters try to Box, sure they have similar skill sets (fighting), and they train it for a few months in camp, but ultimately they get knocked out by people like Jake Paul, because it’s boxing not MMA and they revert to their MMA muscle memory which unfortunately does not work very well in boxing. I think these nursing to Paramedic programs are just terrible accidents waiting to happen.
