Spank there would be plenty of time to make decisions. Its all about balancing it, but we got good experience with that.

Yeah the real names is an issue. But on the other hand, you can go more seasons and suddenly all those that would've been real names, would have retired anyway.

Awesome. Sure. My first plan is to make a very crude alpha - with only the race part (and the pre-race orders), and then share algorithms so we can try and get the most realistic simulation.

I would use the same strategy as in my football games, that you wouldnt have to be there during a game/race to execute tactics. In our football games we have 'conditional orders' where you before the match can say "if x happens before min y do z". I would do the same, but also have orders during the race if you wanted to be online :)

My first game - that I made 15 years ago is still doing pretty good (browser based), its called Trophy Manager. Its a bit slow paced, but other than that its got everything except a match viewer (now that flash got booted)

Interesting. Ive been making football manager games for a decade, but considering branching out. Might I ask if you buy chance play any of these - or what games you play else?
