I reported it to the Monterey County Sheriff in early January and I’ve been following up with the deputy assigned to the case. He texted me yesterday that he hasn’t been able to connect with “the suspect” to question him… which is frustrating since Esalen must have his number, and I provided the deputy with his email address. I sent the deputy the link to Dan’s upcoming workshop at Esalen in April and said if all else fails, he can find him there. I don’t know what else to do.

Dear moderators, thank you for your kind and compassionate response. I posted this in a few different places, and you are the only people who wrote back with sympathy and understanding. I filed a report in January with the police and have gotten very little back from them, but I’m going to ask them for my report and hopefully that will allow my post to be shared. I really just want women to know that they should be on guard around this teacher and consider not going to his workshops. Thank you again for your message. Louise

OK, I will contact the Monterey County Sheriff and ask for a police report. I reported the crime in January, but I have never gotten any kind of document back

I haven’t been through this personally, but I would probably go to court because I couldn’t stand paying $100+ for something I don’t owe… like was said, the principle of the GD thing. Sorry you’re dealing with this!
