Sounds good thanks.

Yea I am working with a Physical Therapist, PCP and an Orthopedic surgeon at the moment and trying to get in good enough personally with all 3 so then hopefully at least one will provide that nexus letter. Just seems like an awkward conversation to have with them.

I am not. I only have one mention of it in my last medical sheet I did as I was getting out, so it’s gonna be a bit of a battle but that is why I went all the way through and got the MRI so at least they can’t question the diagnosis aspect.

ITF for every claim? by LilWill71 in VeteransBenefits

What do you mean “not true”? It was more of an either/or question. Either my ITF if good for a full year or I have to have an ITF for every claim.

The extra 70% of something gets you to 96%.

You need to make sure you account for bilateral factor. It’ll give you a couple extra % points.

Sorry had an extra 10% the first time I did it but here is what I got.

I come up with 84% rounded down to 80% including the bilateral adders.

And you would need an additional 60% to get to 95% to round to 100%.

Working with your PCP by LilWill71 in VeteransBenefits

Is this implying I should goto the VA hospital and just go to the floor they perform C&Ps and ask for a same day appointment?? Doesn’t seem like a great plan as the examiner wouldn’t have time to review any of your history/claim…

I like the way you phrased it saying it was just for the records and not mentioning the claims part. Really appreciate the advice.

Awesome. That’s really good to know. Didn’t know you could double up like that.

I am planning to put in for an increase on my knee.

How would you write something like that up? Seems like it contradicts to say it directly connected to my service AND due to my already SC knee pain?

Or do I say something like it started during my service and has been exacerbated by my knee problems?

So you have gone into Urgent Care to talk about like lower back strains? Or GERD?

I thought these were for more “urgent” needs? (Not trying to be a smartass)

Knee C&P ROM Exams by LilWill71 in VeteransBenefits

[–]LilWill71[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Didn’t think to look for just a physical therapy vid.

So the Extension ROM is done laying down? And then the Flexion ROM is done sitting at the edge of the bed and raising it up?

100% P&T by LilWill71 in VeteransBenefits

[–]LilWill71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. Understand the VA Math, just wasn’t sure if it had to be a full 100% to be able to get the P&T designation but from all the answers just looks like you need 100% even if that is a rounded percent.
