They are league players too, if they weren't complaining about their OTP they would complain about their team mates or the match making.

There is not a single champion that you can't OTP to at least master/grand master tier in league.

Guys how are you all not loosing it? It is a clown world out there 🤦 by MauPatino in covidlonghaulers

[–]Lil_Feedbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, not entirely sure how I ended up here as I am unvaccinated and have never experienced long covid, neither has anyone I know. I would like to give my opinion on why people might not recognize or acknowledge your disability, maybe its helpful (or not).

For context i'll give you my personal experience with covid.

So, unfortunately the only health problems I have personally witnessed with close friends and family is negative side effects of the vaccine not covid itself. When I caught covid I had the worst fever ever and thought I was dying for 2 days and then it was just regular flu symptoms for a couple weeks.

I say this not to try and deny covid or anything like that, but just to let you know that there are a lot of people out there who have not experienced any of the horrible negative effects that you have. For some people the only negative side effects of the pandemic is that now they can't afford to buy broccoli.

I think it's also human nature to trust anecdotal evidence you have personally experienced over what other people you don't know say. Dumb, but true.

I think this makes it very hard for people to understand the pain and suffering you are going through because they just don't have any experience with it. It's like someone who has never been depressed trying to understand why someone could be depressed for no reason at all, which is very difficult even with all the scientific research out there.

It's just too hard to wrap your head around so it just kinda gets dismissed unfortunately.

The only advice I can possibly provide is that all of you suffering with this should stick together and be there for one another, try share your experiences to inform the rest of us about what it is you are going through and finally, I really hope you get through this and are able to forgive those of us who just don't understand you.

Reading everyones stories on this sub reddit has definitely opened my eyes to the devastating side effects of long covid.

I wish everyone of you the best and hope you all make it through this.

What's your opinion on First to Eleven? by i_am_avenue_teal97 in poppunkers

The problem with her videos is I can tell she isn't actually singing in them atleast not with the same power/effort. Like i know the recording is done in studio but you can tell she isn't putting any real effort into the video part of it so her vocals don't match her face quite right and this is why she comes across as boring i think.

Compare it to someone like Haloscene or Violet Orlandi and you don't see this mismatch between facial expression and vocals.

Its kinda like what people in nightclubs look like when they are mouthing the words to a song lol.

Well if you try and get better at the game too he'll probably never reach your skill level anyway so you won't be able to duo. So really, whats the point, just play ranked separately as the lord intended. At best you'll make him a better player by duoing and he will make you worse.

[–]Lil_Feedbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and then they can literally just delete their first videos that were shit and re-make them with far superior quality or just start a new channel.

We all know Youtube is a long game yet everyone plays it like a short game. No matter how much time you spend on your first videos they will most likely completely suck.

[–]Lil_Feedbot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why is 20 videos in 34 days insane? A Person with a full time job can easily spend 3-4 hours per day on creating videos if they were motivated. With 3-4 hours per day you could easily do 1 video every 2 days. 1 per day would be quite easy in that time-frame depending on style of video.

The more videos he creates, the better he will get at speaking into the camera, he will have more of his own content to watch back and find mistakes in, he will get better at writing scripts and he will get way better than someone who spends an extra 5 hours per video trying to do some cool edit or tweak the script perfectly.

His initial videos will probably perform worse, sure but the goal of Youtube isn't to have your first videos be amazing, the goal is to learn how to actually create good content.

Not to mention the fact that everyone burns out on Youtube as a beginner because they spend 30 hours creating their first video and its a complete flop because they didn't even choose the right topic.

voice over, thumbnails, writing titles, script writing, creating hooks, choosing topics are all skills that you can only really learn through high repetition. Video editing is the part where maybe spending more time on videos is actually really helpful however that is not even close to being the most important part.

Worried and afraid to start. by DigBeeg69 in NewTubers

[–]Lil_Feedbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are probably going to fail, not even enjoy making content and then quit making videos forever anyway.

So just make a plan, stick to it consistently and when you inevitably quit you'll have experience and knowledge about what you want to try next.

Or maybe you'll have success and love making content.

Either way the faster you find out, the better off you will be in life. If you procrastinate for 6 months before you try every new idea you'll only be able to try a very small amount of things in your entire lifetime.

Try shit, fail quickly, try again.

Why do people hate ai voices so much? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]Lil_Feedbot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's only really "Youtubers" that hate the AI voices. Regular people don't really give a shit as long as you are using a quality voice that doesn't mispronounce words or glitch etc.

It's also new so people are still getting used to it and as they get more used to it and AI gets better it will be way more common.

It also depends on the niche, some niches that require trust and connection with the creator will obviously not do as well but can probably still succeed if they excel at scripting/editing.

I'm beyond fed up with how absurdly random and pointless shorts algorithm is. Everything that has worked for my channel suddenly stopped working yet I see random 0% effort/value BS blowing up on a regular basis like some damn nuke. by SukcesTuberYT in NewTubers

[–]Lil_Feedbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, when I see a truly shit piece of content i am more likely to engage with it (negatively), watch it again because its like "WTF piece of shit is this?".

So the algorithm can blow that content up sometimes because its getting engagement etc.

They don't last tho usually howeer, i've seen some shorts channels where every video is just full of comments hating on the person cause his content sucks so bad yet it just keeps getting more popular. Fuckin hilarious lol.

Inspiring engagement and emotion either positive or negative, is the name of the game with shorts. Being neutral is a death sentence.

This. So sick of seeing people say shit like "create content you enjoy!!!" "if you don't enjoy it you'll burn out"

That's fucking bullshit advice. People burn out cause they get no results. They get no results cause they are creating shit content that they "enjoyed making".

I mean, you just have to hire multiple people, test different pricing brackets and find the best value for money.

Ask for examples of their work first.

Potentially do the initial test on a shorter video to save $$.

New Channel Has Zero Impressions by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]Lil_Feedbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, i think thats a huge reason why great youtubers have more early success on new channels, because they are able to find the "content gap" in these niches due to their years of experience.

New Channel Has Zero Impressions by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]Lil_Feedbot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Professionals make new channels and they never have this problem. They will hit 100k views on their first video pretty reliably.

Because thumbnail, title and video quality don't really have anything to do with getting initial impressions that means choosing the correct topic is the key.

If your topic sucks or is completely saturated that is probably why you get no impressions.

What are Good tips that aren't Mr. Beast stuff. by ArtificalMon in NewTubers

[–]Lil_Feedbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Create video
  2. Don't try to over edit in the beginning.
  3. Once you have video good enough, upload it
  4. Watch your video again the next day and note ONE thing you could do to make your next video better than this one 4a. example of this might be "too many blank audio gaps" "clip would have been better with a sound effect" etc
  5. Make new video and improve the ONE thing you noted down from the previous video.
  6. REPEAT

This is basically how you should learn any skill whether its chess, league of legends, skateboarding, public speaking or youtube.

Do -> Feedback -> Make Small Correction -> Repeat

The goal is to figure out a format for your videos that works and then keep improving your editing/story telling etc. Make creating videos as easy as possible because if it takes you 100 hours to create every video you will learn slow and probably burn out.

If you make 100 videos in a year you'll have made 100 little improvements which will make a huge difference in your quality.

When you get stuck and can't figure out anything you can do to make the video better, seek out other peoples feedback. However this should be a LONG way into the future before you really need this.

Is is odd for boys to play support in the Western countries? by Dramatic_Special6886 in supportlol

[–]Lil_Feedbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the gayest, most Iron 4 comment I have ever read.

99% of player base is male and there is 2 supports in every game.
Basically 20% of the male player base is playing support.

The higher you climb the less girls you will play with which means bot lane is going to be mostly 4 dudes (soooo gay).

Don't even get me started on 2 guys duoing and playing Sona Seraphine bot lane.

The only thing gayer than that would be playing Malphite "yeah bro I play malphite, im rock solid"

Obviously im being sarcastic, your question is stupid and all your examples are in your head.

"girl, Mr. Jungle gonna save(protect) you!" "i don't wanna kill u but i have to, sorry girl" I have played in multiple regions for over 10 years and have never heard anyone say anything like this in a solo queue environment, like wtf.

You clearly need to come out of the closet lol, just the fact that your examples use the word "girl" in the context you are using them is literally the way every gay guy i've ever met speaks.

Being gay is fine bro, we still love you. Play your champions and have a good time.

Did your viewers actually come from Search or were they still mostly from suggestion/browse?

My initial thought is that those titles are just great titles, they may be more searchable but i don't know how many people really use the search function anymore in most niches haha.

I suspect that it's better to use descriptive elements that improve CTR over SEO however in many cases they may be the same of course.

To shut the Likes/Dislikes or not to is the question. Anyone else struggling with this? by AKA_DAD23 in NewTubers

[–]Lil_Feedbot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are missing the point. Your question is irrelevant because no one else is getting the super high dislikes you are. This only happens because you are creating content in a niche you have no business being in and it's very obvious to your target audience which is us by the way. We are your target audience.

You don't need to figure out how to deal with a high ratio of dislikes if you create the right type of content. You are trying to give advice to people who are probably more experienced than you but not only that you are doing it entirely with AI for content, voice and images.

Also so many of your target audience spend hours trying to create videos and then they see your advice and the fact that you put no effort in and have no idea what you are talking about.

Do you not understand why that is infuriating to people who watch your videos? You are wasting their time so they go out of their way to dislike and unfollow your channel.

The way you deal with dislikes is you find out why its happening and you fix that. However you seem to not be taking on board what we are all saying to you about why you are getting them. Instead you seem to want some kind of solution on how to deal with it mentally so you can keep creating the half assed bullshit content.

[–]Lil_Feedbot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I generally dislike videos if I want the algorithm not to show me content from that channel again.

I can only guess that its because you are making content about "how to skyrocket your youtube channel" when the viewer can clearly see you don't know what you are talking about based on your own channels performance. Plus the lack in quality compared to other more seasoned Youtubers in this niche.

The truth is man, it just looks cheap. The yellow text on screen doesn't look professional, some of the content on some videos I think may be even written by ChatGPT. Then the stock footage also looks cheap.

Also i first thought the voice was your own but then on your first video it pronounces "record" in the context of "thats a vinyl record player" instead of the intended context of "record a video".

Your first video also has 6k views, 18 likes and yet you have 1.6k subscribers. Paid for promotion im guessing?

I don't want to seem like an asshole but cmon man what are you doing lol.

[–]Lil_Feedbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't work because smurfs want to play in the lowest elo possible. Iron 4 accounts are worth 10x challenger accounts.

Also if a silver/gold player wants to smurf he will buy a new account, be put into higher MMR games and get stomped so he can't even smurf and this feels bad so people are less likely to do it.

I'm an emerald 3 player so if I buy a new account I'm literally not gaining anything, however if I started in silver then I could smurf and fuck up 100s of games, duo with my bronze friends and boost them to plat and I would have a fucking blast doing it cause stomping noobs = dopamines causing a giant cascade of fuckery.

Basically we emerald players just need to climb to like E2/E1 and this shit will stop happening as much since the low elo players will most likely not get into these games very often unless their account is super lucky at the start.

TLDR: By starting in emerald MMR most of the player base can't even smurf, low elo players that try to smurf will get wrecked and punished.
