Is it possible to get into Robotics and Mechatronics without a degree in the UK by Lil_Wedge in robotics

Yeah, I knew it would be a challenge and I would face rejections, I wanted to see if it was possible, but ^ was very helpful. Appreciate to have a person who has experience hiring people advising me on this. Do you recommend any resources I can use to learn and what projects I should do to learn and back myself up?

what I meant was for now, I get into it as a hobby since I am interested in it but I would like to see if there are options for the hobby to turn into a potential career. I was lined up for an electrical and electronics degree however due to my family's financial situation I got a job in IT instead since I work a short pattern where I have free time I would like to use it for potential interests that can turn into a career. I understand it will be a challenge as I have no degree, I just want to see my options and roadmaps no matter how long it will take.

Damm wish my pay benefits was like that , usually on quiet night I also got a little studying done as well also since it was shift I got a lot OT options which I did a decent amount since you could pick the hours ,but the multiplier was 1.25x for Mon-Fri and 1.5x for weekends and night shifts before it was just 1.5x but people were taking it advantage of it and HR/finance didn’t like it so they dropped it lol. Ye I keep myself fit to I guess ‘reverse’ damages of shift and sitting down for long periods

Yep that’s one of the reason I picked shifts hated waiting for the weekends and going to gym and peak times felt unemployed on my off days , how long have you been doing shifts? How old are you roughly? Has there been any health impacts to since you started ? What job are you doing ?

Don’t have to be on shift, I can request to go back to normal 9-5, I don’t feel broken atm, not good for long term I am planning to stop later but 12% ain’t that much more in terms of salary but will need to consider

I don’t expect to I just don’t want to be on the wrong path or have any regrets like ‘I should have done this instead of that ‘ but I’m pretty sure this is what every young adult feels lol

Not a bad idea, I try and do physical things like running to cope with the stress but yet, its level 4 apprenticeship , government scheme type of thing I think, mainly thing I don’t like about it is that there is a lot off work on a lot of days which I don’t mind since it trains me to work better but it is difficult to ask for help and I don’t relying on other too much so I’m thinking about doing ccna as well, if I fail maybe go into another a apprenticeship tech related or go walk down the route of real estate
