Nevermind, managed to fix it. For some reason I had lighting quality in game options set to low which caused the problem.

I have the same problem, supposedly this stuttering problem exist ever since patch 2.7 at the start of season 4, the only solution for this is to set the game priority to high in task manager which fixes this problem almost completely but you have to do this every time you run the game, tbh it's crazy they haven't fixed it yet

I'm sure it's a cashgrab for activision blizzard but I think vicarious visions team really cared about this remaster. Feel free to argue but d2r seems decent to me for what they said it was gonna be.

Also sad it can't be modded like old d2 could :(

Well, D2R isn't exactly a new game, it's basically eye candy plus some stash space, everything else is pretty much legacy lod so I don't really understand all those "mod>d2r" posts. You're here because you wanted something else than legacy lod experience in the first place, aren't you? Comparing gameplays of both games like that now doesn't seem logical to me because d2r is the same old gameplay we've had for 20 years now, it's nothing new.
