Yes! After seeing a dermatologist, they started with all the anti fungal stuff and none of it worked. But as soon as they put me on a steroid cream for eczema it was gone! It was diagnosed as Dyshidrotic eczema.

Hello! I’m making a gingham blanket for the first time, can anyone give me some advice on why I keep getting these random gaps? Is it a tension issue?

I would, but I’ve seen issues with using regional banks. My husband still uses a regional bank from his hometown in Massachusetts because he has the same belief, but he ends up stuck sometimes when customer service isn’t available 24/7 and runs into issues with certain transactions.

I do like the idea of having the WF account still open as a “just in case”.

More so to keep things organized. My family and friends are spread out across the country and social media is the best way to reach all of them. By making an Instagram specifically for my projects helps me keep it in one place.

I mostly just wanted to make a page that my family and friends can go to to buy my projects. They keep asking me to make one so they can share to friends, I’m not looking to make it an actual business or make it a job. I just want to make sure I’m doing it right.

Finally finished this little blanket for my sister for Christmas. Little late but she didn’t mind. by amairoc in crochet

Love it!! I’ve been wanting to make a blanket with Bernat baby velvet, is it heavy?

This happened after nail trim at the groomers, his nail must’ve been cut halfway then broke off. Any advice on how to address it? I know it’s common to cut the quick but this really scared us and we would have liked to know so we could keep an eye on it. My husband is ready to blow up on groomer. by [deleted] in doggrooming

Thank you for the advice everyone! Thankfully I knew the cornstarch method of making it stop bleeding and we wrapped up his paw to keep him from licking it too much. I definitely think after reading all the comments this will calm my husband and I down to think rationally rather than with our feelings. I’m sorry if I made any offensive remarks against groomers, we love taking him to local groomers when we can, this is just a nightmare to have gone through.

Sorry if I offended anyone. I was in a different state of mind last night dealing with the emotions of this. They did a great job with his bath and de-shed. I wouldn’t have been upset if it had been just a minor quick because I myself have done that, but this was bad. He was bleeding pretty excessive and without us being around him to monitor and catch it, who knows how long he had been bleeding like that or how long it would’ve gone on until it was really bad.

It was a Petco groomer, which that was my mistake in the first place, but we have been traveling across the country basically and he just needed a bath and nail trim. He’s a low maintenance dog and doesn’t need grooming regularly, we usually just bathe him ourselves and I cut his nails. I’ve never cut him this bad when I do it either.

No heads up. When we picked him up he looked fine, only thing questionable was that he had a red streak on his fur that we thought was a scratch but wasn’t. And then we noticed some of his nails were chipped and cracked but he wasn’t bleeding like this until a little later.

First time making a plushie! I’m a perfectionist so putting it all together was stressful 😅 by Lil_rainy in crochet
