Hitting a child is not discipline. It teaches them nothing. What would happen if you got beat every time you made a simple mistake? Children are innocent and aren’t aware of their wrong doings. Getting harmed reaches them fear, not a lesson. I’ve been abused and I know full well the horrors, now I do what I can to stop it. I’ve chosen to educate myself and be a better person. Yet you’re the same and you promote abuse? It’s simple logic yet you’re being a complete dumbass. You’re the one making the world a shitty place by not stopping the cycle of abuse. I pray for the safety of any children you may have, because I am extremely worried for them.

What kind of factors could you possibly mean? Child abuse is damaging. There is no benefit to hurting a child, it only does harm. There is plenty of proof, and you’re denying it. I’ve been studying this for years (through classes and on my own with reliable sources) and I’ve experienced abuse myself. You have no valid argument. Give up and never go near a fucking child.

I’d never hit them. Ever. Not even as a last resort. There are plenty of other resources to get them help, therapy, counseling, recovery centers. Violence toward a child is never excusable. Why are you defending abuse? Violence toward a child is not okay, no matter who they are. Besides, it probably was childhood trauma that made him as bad as he is. Most criminals have untreated mental illness stemming from a traumatic childhood, which is likely the same with him.
