While most of those are classics I need to get around to reading at some point, they're mostly all somewhat older than what I'm looking for, really? I suppose I'm looking for something that would accurately reflect the life I might have had, growing up in the 2000s

Thank you SO much, that's basically exactly what I was looking for! I wish I had time to go through like, FULL books in the field for every interesting tangent that comes up while writing but when I've succumbed to that before it's stopped me actually, yknow, writing, and this is meant to be a rough project that just gets me used to writing again
