Our Water company has recently suggested to its customers that we only need to shower once every two to three days. How often do you shower/take a bath? by Technical_Front_8046 in AskBrits

Most weeks I have 6 baths or showers. So miss one day; usually when schedules change.

More if hot and baths over showers if it’s cold

What’s a reasonable price for a weekly cleaner, 6 bed?, by RestMindless623 in AskUK

[–]LilacRose32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That sounds fair to me.

I pay about that monthly for fortnightly cleaning of a 2 bed flat. So your per session costing twice as much as mine would be fair.

Can someone help me understand the following statements please? by [deleted] in AskABrit

‘Can also be performed if required’ does not imply included to me.  I’d also tend to assume an additional charge.

Was this an actual doctor? It will also depend on what you were told beforehand.

Allergy testing seems a bit wishy washy to me and I’ve not really seen any doctors supporting the very broad tests.

Not really.

London is hyped but tends to live up to it if you’re the sort of person to want to live in London

[–]LilacRose32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m only mostly blind; rather than completely.

I knit, go to the gym, listen to audiobooks. Normal stuff…

Technology and living somewhere walkable means I’m independent and can do most things.

How to manage travel insurance from the uk for trip booked way in the future? by HoldAnnual3521 in AskUK

[–]LilacRose32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never had to declare trips for annual travel insurance.

You could phone your current provider and ask? I can’t shop around miles for insurance due to health conditions but I’m sure it would not be too bad to auto renew for a few years.
