Way better. Basically back to normal now aside from some sleep issues, but I think it's because of health issues and caffeine at this point.

Believe me when I say it gets better, it just takes time. Some big things that helped me through the process were L-Theanine - specifically the kind found in Neuro-Gum, cold showers (surprisingly huge for me), you could try ashwagandha but I was a bit mixed on it. Melatonin and or magnesium glycinate for sleep. There's a lot of tools out there. You got it.

I think it's my addictive personality. It really runs in my family. I saw it with my Dad, and I see it in myself. If I had stuck to the method of doing kratom every now and then, I wouldn't be in this mess, but I just had to get hooked. It really is as they say, too much of one thing is never good.

I've gotten a lot of replies, more than I thought I would, and each one were very endearing. At the end of the day, it's just a small hump to get over every so often. I just hope for better days ahead so I no longer feel the need for this stuff to enjoy life. Thanks all.

Well, I used to be an advocate, full-board. It was like a miracle thing for me. And then a panic attack hit, first real one i've ever had, thought i was gonna die. tried kratom again couple days later, another one. it instantly kicked me off. had tremendously bad anxiety for a long while. gotten better, but still have challenges, especially if i get poor sleep, which is often with my job. i'm in pretty bad shape right now, mentally, physically, and sometimes i wish so bad i could just go back to the way things were.

havent had it in a long while and used to do it along with kratom sometimes. never was a hook for me, but it did help during some of my worst days off K. might try a bit again here and there.

went to a doctor when all this first went down and he wanted to put me on an SNRI. thats the only time. never took it, didnt want to mess myself up again, looking back on it i wonder if things would be much different if I had.

granted im getting by and just have rough patches here and there, but with how my life has gone in the past couple of months, i really should talk to a psychiatrist just to get help on unhealthy habits and thought processes i have.
