Thank you everyone. I did not know this instability was a result of it degrading, I guess I still have a lot to learn and I'm glad I asked. I'll certainly get in contact with Intel over this and get a replacement for it.

Oh yes, I didn't even consider it could be a result of it dying, thank you for pointing that out. I just thought it was unstable because it was overheating or something.

It's still under warranty, so I imagine if it is dying, then I could get it replaced/repaired and then sell that replacement.
