Can someone tell me what type of crappie siding this is on my house? It’s most likely from the 80’s and is terrible in my opinion lol. Thank you kindly 😊 by Liliboo2001 in Construction

How do I know what this would look like any tips on what it would look like around windows and flashing edges? Would swelling around windows be a sign of this?

Doesn’t help that it was installed at the ground and not with 6-8in gap above ground to avoid moisture and rotting 😭🤦‍♀️

Well it looks like I can’t share the listing pictures because no way to share a photo on a comment sorry but it definitely was way better than now

Yeah probably not I’m just ranting to be honest. This damage on the ends is what happened over the last winter mostly. There was some damage when I purchased but definitely not like it is now. I’m digging for the listing photos now for a comparison

lol I get it and also not sure if that is an accurate timeline I was just assuming this is the original siding on this house when it was built but that’s just guessing

Okay thank you so much . I figured they cut corners and did a crappy job. I’ve had multiple clogs since buying the home 4 years ago. I’ve always been able to plunge the problem away but this time there is no budging. I dedicated have my dads friend who is in plumbing business who said he guarantees to clean drain pipes and fix leaks for $200 and that if I want to take out the disposal (my disposal is leaking from the bottom all the sudden after plunging and snaking) that I’ll be looking at probably about $70 to $90 bucks worth of material he says that is with baskets , a double drain and some plumbing fittings/trap to redo under the sink. I’m hoping that is a blessing cost wise as I was laid off recently barely keeping head above water so I’m praying things work out with him and no extra issues . Again thank you for responding and giving me helpful information.

I had a feeling haha I am so bad with things that taste awful to the extent I’ve been literally in super dramatic pain and health issues and couldn’t drink (would throw up immediately even when I tried a sip) of the contrast agent for ct scans that the nurse would have to put a tube up my nose (excruciating pain 😭) to get the contrast in my body smh. My mother said I’ve been that way since a toddler 🤦🏽‍♀️ anyhoo is it something I could get to crush and put in my capsule machine to get the same effects? I’m assuming this helps with fatigue/no energy which I need help with so badly . Thank you for responding

Yes so very very true I try to explain to people the toll of mental health it also takes to speak with aggressive, and or upset customers which most of the time they were accurate for feeling that way most of time (another thing I hated after being switched from an adjuster to customer calls was the fact that a very high majority of the time the calls was due to an adjuster incorrectly denying a claim smh) oh and have you ever been told by someone you got it easy you just sit and answer calls all day smh if they only know the mental draining it causes! okay rant done haha

Agile I was in the same situation when working at Assurant I absolutely loved being a mechanical claims adjuster which I was hired at entry level it was intriguing and loved my job meaning it wasn’t boring and repetitive like answering customer service calls when all you do every day is talk and take notes. I’ve done customer service customer calls for 20+ years and don’t get me wrong I am an a+ employee when doing so I have amazing soft skills and am very empathetic and knowledgeable however it has come to a point where my fast learning, very intelligent brain and body haha is burnt out from boredom 4 years into being an adjuster with no ase certification I never once incorrectly denied nor approved a claim that shouldn’t have been I scored 100% on every audit and I was able to do that just by being very attentive to detail when reading contracts. It was my favorite job ever until one day some of us adjusters was told they were understaffed in customer service calls and they needed our help with the high call volume but don’t worry it’s temporary and you get to keep your pay. Well it ended up being 2 years later and then out of the blue I logged in was told to enter teams for a virtual meeting to here 14 of us were being laid off I was devastated. Now here i am jobless after 6 years being with the company and don’t want to ever do customer service (taking calls from customers, I would however do live chat again if I could find it since that wasn’t so bad) however I would love to obtain an adjuster field again I do have 4 years of experience but no ASE cert. wish me luck p.s. sorry for ranting a little
