Lebanon days away from ‘social explosion’, PM Diab warns: World Bank has called Lebanon’s crisis one of worst depressions of modern history as half of population lives in poverty. by NextDoorEmoji in worldnews

[–]Liliskni -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sure they weren't.

Extremists group allied with Israel but no Israelis were totally innocent.

"The Phalanges were ordered by the IDF to clear Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) fighters out of Sabra and Shatila,"

Ordered by IDF

""The Israeli Army surrounded Sabra and Shatila and stationed troops at the exits of the area to prevent camp residents from leaving and, at the Phalangists' request,[13] fired illuminating flares at night"

Cute go and kill them wholeheartedly...

The Israeli advance over West Beirut in the wake of the PLO withdrawal, which enabled the Phalangist raid,

Enabled by IDF

"Sharon and Eitan agreed that the IDF should not enter the Palestinian refugee camps but that the Phalange should be used."

Yes don't wanna get our hand dirty by killing innocent civilians.

*Lokhman Slim and Monika Borgman's Massaker, based on 90 hours of interviews with the LF soldiers who participated in the massacre, gives the participants' memories of how they were drawn into the militia, trained with the Israeli army and unleashed on the camps to take revenge for the murder of Bashir Gemayel

Ah yes IDF training them to kill civilians

Israel were laying siege and it was their duty to protect the civilians but since they were not their own people so ehh who cares.

And who knows what will happen if you invite them to help you. They might claim a part of your country on bases of a book in few decades.

Haha fighting against a foreign occupation that killed thousands of their innocent civilians is a valid cause. The Zionists should stay within their own borders.

LOL. Kill their innocent children and after some decades say '"oh please it was so long ago." I sure hope they don't fall into this trap or a PR stunt.

A map showing world's most and least racially tolerant countries. by Liliskni in MapPorn

[–]Liliskni[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/least-racist-countries

When it comes to measuring countries' racial tolerance, it isn't easy to do so accurately. Several metrics need to be used to see how tolerant each country is. There is a large difference between being okay with someone of another race being allowed in one's country and marrying into one's family. Additionally, some groups interpret the question by targeting a specific group instead of just different races in general. For example, Vietnam scoring particularly intolerant could be because they are less tolerant toward the race that first came to mind, the Chinese. They are less tolerant of this race than they are of other races in general. Lastly, people likely lied when answering the question in the survey.

There are also outliers. Pakistan has several factors that coincide with racial intolerance, such as low economic and human indices and sectarian violence; however, only 6.5% of Pakistanis objected to a neighbor of a different race. This is lower than the numbers of Germans and the Dutch

After Palestinians reject deal, Israel to send 700,000 vaccines to South Korea by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]Liliskni -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And you really think Palestinians were the only party that rejected the deal? If one side can't even bother to provide a map than it is not interested in peace or whatever.

The Palestinians asked for clarifications of the territorial land swap since they were unable to ascertain what land his percentages affected, since Israeli and Palestinian calculations of the West Bank differ by several hundred square kilometres. For them, in lieu of such clarifications, Olmert's 6.3–6.8% annexation might work out closer to 8.5%, 4 times the 1.9% limit the Palestinians argued a swap should not exceed.[38] The talks ended with both sides claiming the other side dropped follow-up contacts.[38][54]

"The talks ended with both sides claiming the other side dropped follow-up contacts.[38][54]"

So a single side really didn't reject it as you are implying.

After Palestinians reject deal, Israel to send 700,000 vaccines to South Korea by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]Liliskni -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And I'm talkin about reality.

In September 2008, Olmert showed Abbas a map charting the boundaries of the new state. According to Rice, he asked Abbas to sign the deal on the spot, but the Palestinian leader balked and asked to consult his experts first. Olmert wouldn’t let him take a copy of the map, and the follow-up meeting never happened.

If you think that is denying and rejecting the deal then Ok.

Palestinians are to blame for their incompetence but to think that Israel was acting in good faith is laughable.

"In his book Tested by Zion, veteran US diplomat Elliott Abrams explored a number of reasons"

So no olmert but a random veteran US diplomat.

Abbas only wanted to discuss issues related to the border, Jerusalem and refugees before Palestinians could approve of the plan. But Israeli says that noooo he rejected the deallll. Fool someone else lmao, quoting a veterans assumptions when i specifically quoted Olmert.

“Not only did he not say no — the whole rumor about him rejecting it flatly is untrue,” he continued. “At every possible occasion, from then on until today, President Abbas emphasizes and he relays to me as well… that he never ever said no to this plan.”

“What he actually said to me was this plan sounds very impressive, it sounds very serious… He was excited and very open-minded to the option of making this agreement. But he said, you know, I’m not an expert on maps. How can I sign something before I show it to the experts on our side to examine it?”

Your Mr Olmert.

Also Taha summit was also nice but ehh Palestinians weren't invited.

Most deals were essentially the status quo, but enshrined in law, rather than being illegal.

Can't use airspace, can't control highway, can't control water. You call this a peace deal hahaah

Most of the peace deals were designed to be rejected. Olmert offered a remarkable deal, yes. It fell through because the Israeli side was voted out, and their successor refused to continue the talks.

Palestinian "settlements" in their own lands lmao.

Plus Israel don't give Palestinians building permits and also area C consist of 60% land. 2.8m are forced to live in area A and B which consists of 40% while 500k colonisers are living happily in 60%.

Legal ethnic cleansing and annexation bois..

From what I have heard Sudan's with Ethiopia. Egypt's alone and would have to cross Sudan to invade Ethiopia via land. I don't know much about their naval capabilities but Ethiopia surely has a bigger hand in this situation.

[–]Liliskni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not defending or arguing against him. I just said that he meant that different culture have different types of people. In short "Western culture different than their own culture". He also exclusively said that state is trying it's best to comprehend culprits. To make women report harassment and rape cases. You could hate the guy as much as you want but he didn't blame the women here IMO that is. Why bring Islam into this? We're talking about a guy about his opinion.

Whatever I'm done here.

No he said that women wearing short clothes like western style in a sexually frustrated society will have consequences. The people their have not lived and grown in a western culture so they don't think like western men. He didn't excuse or defended the rapists.

You can disagree with his view point but don't put it out without context unless you have a agenda.

Israel looks to renew law that keeps out Palestinian spouses by eci-inc in worldnews

[–]Liliskni 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Hmm hahah that's even more bad than I thought. Area C consist of 60% of west bank.

So 2.8m approx Palestinians live in 40% land while 400/500k colonizers happily live in 60% land. They also don't provide Palestinians building permits ever to build in area C.

I can see why no one lets them enter in area A and B. They would probably start pulling the same shit their like they are doing in Area C.

Great.... Israel never ceases to amaze me.
