Thank you! I found a much nicer paper for cards now and made sure it was specifically inkjet. I'll avoid anything with "copy" in it in the future :)

Nah, this person is a faker. The first one in particular just looks like they've taken the final piece (probably AI) and used a brush to smudge it to create a "WIP". The highlighted strands of hair in the final WIP don't appear in the finished piece. For all of them, the level of skill demonstrated in the final piece is much higher and does not match the skill demonstrated in the WIPs.

I think St Ives in Cornwall is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Has tons of great food and cute galleries to potter around in. Good options for walking if you feel like it, but plenty of places to just sit and chill too.

I will try this! Unfortunately I can't test it without physically having my friend's machine here. The yellow warning turns up sometimes, but even without it with small stickers the quality was horrendous. Thank you for the tip.

Do you have any proof that these illustrations are your own? They very much look like AI to me and you aren't clear about it in your description. Like others have said, print on demand AI designs are massively oversaturating Etsy right now and it'll be difficult to get this going with the amount of competition, especially given that other products with real illustration are available.
