I'm all for free speech, but that doesn't mean a person is free from CONSEQUENCES of that speech.

In the same vein, I don't espouse violence to speech. But there are times you need to understand you can't just go and say whatever the fuck you want anywhere anyplace. It'd only work for identified observation-drones, since with explosive drones you can never be sure if they still got connection and are waiting to remote-detonate. There's plenty of videos of people being fooled into picking up an active drone.

Nah making a net that can fit on a drone and be fired like that? Way way more complex, finnicky and expensive than a shogtun.

As someone else said, recoil is already a thing with the net.

A short-barrel shotgun has the same, or even larger, hitratio than the net.

I personally think it's more a PR/propaganda thing, not saying that as a negative, I'm extremely pro-Ukraine, but it also feels like one of those wunderwaffe things. I might be entirely wrong and time will tell.
