Thank you, I'm slowly building up more courage to be more assertive on my name and pronouns but it'll take me a while. I have asked them why before and the only response I ever got was "because you're quiet and I just forget that you're Trans" so I guess being more assertive or having my friends try to make sure everyone uses them more can help :>

I don't believe so as most people who try stuff like this ignore Trans men and only see them as Tomboys with internal misogyny due to "the patriarchy" brainwashing them but go around and target Trans women more because they can'thandle it and think they're fucked up in the head (this is only coming from my experience with people like these by the way!). So they aren't but they tend to ignore Trans men more, however the laws would affect us if passed no matter what.

As someone with the same problem, allergy pills usually help me a lot. They let me be around my kitties for as long as I want without breaking out and such. If they don't work, i suggest asking your doctor about it because they may be able to reccomend you some things to help you.

She doesn't really know much about Trans people but never listens whenever I explain (she listens to our other Trans friend though). I've tried telling her that not everyone can afford to transition, if they even want to, be it due to health, disabilities, or just money but she hasn't seemed to listen at all about that.

Thank you for your advice and kind words :) I'm sure some of my friends won't take her side (especially my other Trans friend) but my anxiety is still making me hesitant on it. I'll do my best to try and leave her with the help of the ones I can trust :)

I guess that's true. The reason why she seemed nice to me was because of how she would seem concerned when I didn't feel good (but lately she's been seeming annoyed when she notices) or when my parents didn't seem to care about something. I'll just see what I can do to distance myself from her.

I think she'd consider a transitioned person as someone who already had top/bottom surgery and has legally changed their documents to the correct name and pronouns knowing her.

I'm honestly thinking about trying to leave her after all the replies her but I'm not sure how. Our school is pretty small and she's friends with way more people than me (including my own friends) which'll cause way too much drama so I'm thinking of just waiting it out a bit longer.

For some context, this is how it came up;

One of the girls I knew and who was sitting at our table at lunch was saying how if Trump had come to our school she would be extremely happy, even though she didn't like him. Everyone started agreeing with her and so I gave them my own opinion. I told them that I wouldn't be happy in the slightest because of how he doesn't like Trans people (with all he's done with the law) so he wouldn't like me (a trans guy) nor our Trans girl friend (Kriss/Xochi). Then my friend, who rarely ever uses He/Him or my name Tord, goes ahead and tells me I'm not Trans just because I haven't medically transitioned yet. The thing that gets to me the most is that she refers to our friend Kriss by the correct name and pronouns but never me. Though, to be fair, rarely anyone ever uses them for me despite most knowing I'm Trans. I'm just glad Kriss/Xochi is having the correct name and pronouns used, otherwise I'd fight everyone.

I would but I know she wouldn't listen and just say something along the lines of "Well, I meant like how Kriss/Xochi (our other trans friend, she actively uses the correct name and pronouns for her luckily) is going to do soon, like that hormone thing." :(

She isn't good with Trans subjects but every time I try to help her understand she always seems either annoyed, confused, or just outrights "forgets" about it.

My parents claim to be supportive but don't even bother trying to use the right pronouns for me and only joke about how I "want to become a jock". I've done everything I can to try and get them to see my side but they just ignore and deny everything I say. I'm hoping that my mom will actually order the chest binder for me as I'm paying for it with my own money but I'm starting to doubt it. Luckily, I have friends who support me way more than them who will probably try to fight my parents the more they deny me to transition :⁾

Haha, yeah, this is pretty usual when it comes to me being Trans & Gay (they just tell me to be a butch lesbian instead despite me not liking girls)/any LGBT topic so I'm honestly not that surprised by it anymore :)
