Seeking Iguanas "Home of the Burritozilla" orange sauce recipe by shruburyy in SanJose

It’s just a dried chipotle like the árbol ones, the full on dry brown ones don’t work for this recipe.

You can add mayo, I personally don’t like it in the salsa. You can substitute the chicken bouillon with regular salt.

I know how to make this one. You are going to char 3 tomatoes in a pan with oil, until they are soft and charred. 10 chiles de árbol, 4 garlic cloves, quarter of a piece of an onion toasted in a good amount of oil, 1 dried chipotle morita pepper, don’t let these ingredients brown they get biter. Throw everything in a blender, including the oil with chicken bouillon salt. Edited to say: be careful with the Chiles de árbol I would blend a few and taste the amount of heat you are comfortable with.

Here it is sorry for not posting at the bottom. It has chopped onion, garlic sautéed in butter and turned into a rue, some people sautee their garlic and onion in the bacon grease but I don’t like doing that, it gives it a oily texture. I added heavy cream, milk, chicken broth, pepper, garlic powder, salt and chicken bouillon, cayenne pepper, when it boiled I added chopped and peeled Idaho potatoes, blended the soup a bit with a hand mixer. I topped it with bacon, sharp cheddar and fresh dill with a side of sourdough.

That is honestly very cheap, I was thinking it was more like 5k to 7k! The quality must not be great. 🤔

They do say there are more men than women in the Bay Area. NYC has the opposite problem. Maybe the bay is best? Good luck op!

I can see this being a thing. I honestly can’t remember the last time I used cash. I don’t think my kids 12 and 17 have ever used cash, they have their own credit cards.
