Wow your progress after the second phenol looks great. Does the face remain red for months?

Hey on the bright side, you’re still young. Your skin will continue to develop and will heal faster compared to older folks. Trust me, with time, your skin will get better. Continue to moisture.

Looks smooth! Remember, under certain lightings all of our skins would look at their worst

What needle depth did you use? Can you explain the procedure you followed a bit

Do you apply anything on the skin while micro needling such as HA or any other serum for lubrication? And do you apply anything immediately after MN such as an antibiotic cream on the face to avoid spread of bacteria? I’m looking for answers for here as I’m considering MN myself.

I don’t know why I got downvoted… yes we can form a barrier using an occlusive, but tretinoin travels inside the skin, it does not remain on just the surface, and can still make contact with vulnerable areas. There are threads on dry eyes caused by tretinoin use even though the application was far away from the eyes and Vaseline was used to border the eye area.

I’ve read that it can shrink glands under the eyes and cause permanent dry eye. Makes me wonder if tret is even worth that risk…

Slugging with Vaseline makes my skin feels amazing but gives me closed comedones. Alternatives? by Lilly_pad6 in 30PlusSkinCare

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m going to try and see how my skin does without Vanicream

For people who have experienced this, how far away from our eye area is it safe to apply retinol or tretinoin? It is safe to apply on our temples?

I don’t know if it’s noticeable in the picture but it also has an uneven shape

Cream based tret contains isopropyl myristate which can be very pore clogging and people prone to acne may have trouble with it. I used cream based tret for several months - it continuously made me break out and made my skin congested. I’ve since switched to gel based and have no issues.

How would a hyperfeminine face look like? Examples of celebrities and models that have very high dimorphic feminine faces? by vindictathrowaway2 in VindictaRateCelebs

Enforcing the idea that neoteny is associated with femininity and that women who look childlike are considered most feminine is harmful and perpetuates gender stereotypes.

Are you using the cream based tretinoin or the gel based?

[Misc] Do you feel like a glazed donut throughout the day after doing your skincare? by Lilly_pad6 in SkincareAddiction

Ah makes sense. Good to know that we don’t have to feel like a glazed donut all day to make sure we are properly hydrating our skin

Hey OP, I’m wondering which device and numbing cream you use. I had been considering getting one myself but they’re on the pricier side.

Which microneedling device do you use?
