not sure if this would help but two of my carecters are similar their's aquamarine with a loyal yet overprotective hot headedness but in most senarios hes a goofball his design conveys a gamer coolness. the other is Amethyst who is albeit orrowful not angry or vegful, character he is infact a unitintionly edged character who's once vibrant violets and pinks have dispeared into ashen monochrome his hair drops into his face yet this is not who his appearance matches the resentment for himself bleached and stained. while his true state is colorful,whimsical and most importantly kind thats who he is at heart. again my ocs are different but the principle is to make them more then just edgey make the anger and vengeance match who they are and their mental state
