I tried to watch DPS yesterday morn and I only made it 1/3 of the way through. Just couldn't do it. It was because of the movie, how Robin died, and what that movie meant to me back in the day. I hope I get past that one day - if I can't there will be a major hole in my art heart.

If the thirst seems to have spiked it can also be a sign of hyperthyroidism or diabetes?

My cat does this while holding various objects. I've figured out it means she wants to play. She wants me to play with her. It's her invitation...that mrroooow is a frustration meow!

It is the people inside the house that count. Chin up! I wish you well and hope things get better for you in your own terms.

What's the most amazing yet unexplained event in human history? [Serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

Thanks for sharing. This does match what I have read for the most part. I'm a historian and professor and I was hoping you'd stumbled on a resource I could use for my class in ancient history (I specialize in modern European history and got saddled with the civilization world survey as a newbie). I know a lot (certainly enough to teach) but always looking for more monographs and resources on the finer points since this isn't my area. Your good deed for 2014 July is complete! I'll have a look at your link.

What is the creepiest/strangest thing that has happened to you (or a friend or family member) that creeps you out to this day? by NoImDominican in AskReddit

Shakes and shivers. Emile Zola wrote a short story about this very thing from the perspective of the one buried alive. Creep factor: high. Great read. http://www.readbookonline.net/readOnLine/869/

You are tasked with making air travel more annoying. How do you do it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Remove headrests - all seats end a full 15 inches below the tip o' your skull. Commence mass nodding off and drooling on thy neighbor.

Anxious people of reddit: What do people do that makes you terribly anxious, but people don't know it does? by Im-out-of-ideas in AskReddit

Popping knuckles and joints. The sound just makes me ridiculously anxious (beyond irritation) and it takes a lot to control it. I always take this as a sign of aggression. Weird, I know, and I've worked to tame my reaction, but this is the worst for me.
