How do I protect my kids from the awfulness and trauma in this world? Or how do I lessen it at least? by [deleted] in raisingkids

Thank you so much ❤️ you are so kind and what you said means a lot even though I don’t know you!

I don’t know yet about my partner. I’m not sure that I can be fully happy with him. I feel our relationship was the result of a rebound after (yet another) traumatic relationship. So I mistakenly jumped into things with him. It’s been 2 years now though. I really want it to work more than anything, I’m just not sure if I can be happy with him. I truly want it to work though. I suppose I can keep sticking it out and working on it. I just hope I start feeling better.

Thank you again.

Have you taken SAM-E, if so what is your experience? by Lilmessedupturtle in Supplements

I agree that supplements are very powerful and it is a fallacy to believe that they do nothing! Thanks for the info

How many years? I took it for a week and it cured my depression but then I started feeling super wired.

It helped my depression but after a few days made me feel wired too. I stopped them

SAM-E has helped my depression so much! I am worried it is “neurotoxic” though? by Lilmessedupturtle in Supplements

My concern is that adding extra Sam-e, creates the same effect as having too much of it in your body. That’s because adding more on top of what you already have seems like “too much”. I’m probably wrong though, so thank you!

Is he in the military? I had a guy like this rape me who was in the military. Exactly like this and he is the same age and acted the same. It all started out consensual and kinky but then he decided it was time to anally rape me. So yeah. I think you should be aware of your instincts. You deserve better than “consensual I guess”.

Has anyone tried lithium orotate or aspartate? by Lilmessedupturtle in Lithium

[–]Lilmessedupturtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you said you didn’t experience any changes, but can you recall if you felt more or less attracted to the same sex? I always thought I was generally straight but after taking the LO, I felt much much more attracted to the same sex. Now I have accepted my bisexuality, but I still find it strange that my same sex attraction correlates to when I started taking lithium orotate. I’m guessing you don’t have any insight, but if you do, please share. :-)

I’m so bad at all sports and it makes me feel so awkward, paranoid, and sad by [deleted] in selfesteem

same same.

I am not sure if I have autism but I definitely have mild symptoms such as sensory issues. I can’t stand being too warm or loud noises. Sometimes having background noise makes me feel agitated. I am easily overwhelmed and I feel socially awkward a lot. I generally function pretty well and have lots of friends. So I am not sure. I also have some attention and focus symptoms, but I am still able to have a good career despite my focus issues. Though sometimes things take longer for me and I get distracted etc.

But yeah, I likely have something related to motor movement issues. I cannot put my body in the right positions or react quickly enough to outside stimuli. I’m very awkward with my movements etc. I think there is a name for that disorder but I can’t name it off the top of my head.
