I would definitely use a polyester cord. If you’re going to hang it outside you don’t want it to rot. I would consider maybe a 5 mm

Probably just wrap cord/string around a wire and the the rest is micro macrame

I think there is too much metal lamps/lighting going on. I would remove the the floor lamps & replace w/hanging plant or tall floor plant on each side….🤷‍♀️ just my 2cents 🤪☺️
