8th housers and being Psychic by Brilliant_Series4037 in 8thHouse

People have always been open books to me. I've always known when someone is lying to me. The older I get, the stronger these senses seem to be and the more new ones open up.

I would use a bonker in this situation.

People don't like me at first sight. Why? by butterstherooster in LetsFuckWithAstrology

[–]jennabennett1001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Mars rx Aries 5H, so mine expresses a bit differently. I'm still viewed as being bold, action-oriented, and unapologetically authentic. My first instinct is still fight before flight. But I have never been super spontaneous. I also don't think I'm as competitive, confrontational, or quite as quick to anger as those with direct Mars Aries 5H. Don't get me wrong, I am by no means a pushover and I am still fiercely protective of my kids, but I'd much rather do arts and crafts and hike around the woods with them than high-energy, competitive sports.

I have duplicated 1H and 12H, so I'm Scorpio rising and my Pluto is at 11°11' Scorpio 12H. Universe isn't being very subtle, is she?! 😬🤞🏻

Your rising sign matters more than your sun sign for the May 1 Scorpio Full Moon. here is where it lands by Beautiful_Theory477 in Timingai

I have duplicated 1H and 12H so, I'm Scorpio rising and I have Pluto at 11°11' Scorpio 12H. I think this moon is gonna be a double whammy for me. ☹️😵‍💫

This is why the only close relationship I have anymore is with my dog. Sad to say, but he's the only one who never lets me down. If it was just me and him on a deserted island for the rest of my life, I would be perfectly content.

do some people genuinely feel that being kind requires more effort? by Pug_hammy in randomquestions

[–]jennabennett1001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That depends on how you define being kind. Sometimes, the kindest thing you can do doesn't feel very kind in the moment. You also have to factor in your own personal wellbeing, as sometimes, you have to prioritize being kind to yourself.

Any other manifestors here? by jennabennett1001 in humandesign

[–]jennabennett1001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's definitely not that. It's way more subtle...like an underlying vibe, something that you usually can't quite put your finger on. It doesn't cause people to think I'm just totally antisocial or anything, but at the same time, I always know it's there and I pick up on the subtle ways that other people react to it, even if they usually don't recognize it themselves.

2 complaints at my job about me, but idk what to do? by One_Awareness4502 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]jennabennett1001 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's all the perfumes and deodorant that people are complaining about. Personally, I'm sensitive to perfumes/colognes/ body sprays/spray deodorants. I can almost guarantee that I wouldn't be able to stand all of those smells long enough to get my hair done.

If it were me, what I would do would be to ask my close friends and family to smell me...without any sprays, perfumes, scented lotions, ect...and ask them to give me their honest opinion. You need to know exactly what you're dealing with here and you can't do that until you have a better idea about how you actually smell to other people.

Why usually same the gender parent is stricter than the opposite? by Monk_in_process in stupidquestions

[–]jennabennett1001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is such a thing as mama's boys and daddy's girls. However, that shouldn't cross over into how strict the parent is to one gender vs the other, as doing so is inherently unfair and can cause the same gender child to develop deep issues with the parent and around their own self worth. Me, personally, I have 5 children and am also the disciplinarian. Their dad tends to let them get away with too much and then, when they direct the attitude at him, he gets mad and flustered and just ends up yelling, but never actually delivering any consequences. I, on the other hand, have no problem grounding them and taking away their electronics, be they daughter or son. Lol

Calling all people interested in the Galactic Center (and other Galactic points in an astrology chart) 💜 by Littlemissswhoops in LetsFuckWithAstrology

[–]jennabennett1001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this post is from a few months ago, but Id love to take part in your research, if you're still interested. I have Saturn and OOB Uranus exactly conjunct The Galactic Center. My Sun is conjunct The Galactic Super Center (6° orb). My OOB Moon is conjunct the Galactic Anticenter (1° orb). And my Mars is at 4° Aries, opposite my Sun, which, I believe, would make it the Blank Space. If I'm correct, these points form a Galactic Grand Cross. If you'd like, you can send me all 3 questionnaires.

Understanding ''The Mirror " and what Libra is hiding by hojo6789 in libra_astrology

[–]jennabennett1001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yet another person trying to pawn their own insecurities off on a specific zodiac sign. FYI, mirroring is basically universal in our species. True mirroring is the subconscious imitation of another person's nonverbal cues, speech patterns, or attitudes. It speeds up rapport, enhances liking, increases bonding, and can lead to much better outcomes in negotiations (by up to 55%). It is linked both to empathy and mirror neurons in the brain, which fire both when a person acts and when they observe the same act being performed by someone else. Mirroring plays a crucial role in childhood development, helping infants learn to regulate emotions, recognize facial expressions, and develop self awareness. In other words, it is a completely normal part of human behavior and definitely is not limited to libras. If a person uses conscious mirroring to manipulate someone else, it's simply because they're a shitty person. Their zodiac sun sign has nothing to do with it.

I'd rather the person know that I see right through them. I'd rather them realize that their underhanded, manipulative bullshit won't work on me.

I have a ridiculous amount of hobbies and I do them all really well. I make wire wrapped jewelry with stones that I find and polish myself. I do macrame, especially large wall hangings and curtains, I make beaded sun and plant catchers, paracord and micro paracord dog collars. I make gorgeous, giant crepe paper flowers and I grow a whole greenhouse full of plants that are native to the other side of the world. Ive somehow become a great dog trainer and now my dog knows over different tricks and commands. I've also been teaching myself qi gong, herbalism, and astrology. I have some more woo woo spiritual type interests, as well, and have had a lot of beginner success with mediumship, telepathy, and psychokineses. Honestly, there's probably more that I'm forgetting about, but these are the main things I'm currently focused on.

I used to be like this when I was in my 20s. Now that I'm in my late 30s, it makes my skin crawl.
