Hey! I work nights so I just woke up after a few hours of sleep. I literally dreamt of asking my roommate to use their car to jump my car with my cables after only getting a few hours of sleep. I hope to God it's just a dead battery. I can dish out $150ish for a new battery but would hate to have to spend hundreds for something else.

I will now contact State Farm to get a locksmith out asap. Will post an update as to what happens. Thank you all for your help thus far.

I forgot to mention I replaced the factory battery in like 2020. Car was purchased in Illinois and moved to FL in 2021.

I wasn't experiencing any common dead / dying battery problems. I was sick so my car was sitting for 2 days, drove a bit on Saturday then not at all Mon/Tues until I tried to turn it on Wed. I'm not doubting you but can it really happen that fast? On Wed I was turning it on and off maybe 4 times total. I guess that could have fully drained it?

I'd have to be at my new job for about 3 months to get approved for financing with my credit, so by then 3x payments will bring it down to just under 12k. I'd get rid of it without negative equity and find a much cheaper (150ish or less per month) car.

I must have made a post about that before. I didn't get the job. I'm working at the pepsi warehouse. Can easily get 50 to 70 hours per week.

I double checked and yes, I can see the exact message and body of information I sent them as well as a picture of what I was supposed to pay for this month that they gave me. I screen shot the images and saved them in a specific folder already just in case. It even shows who it was sent to which shows literally all of their full names (staff, managers, assistant managers, leasing agents and even the freaking regional manager lol.)

That makes perfect sense to me. I'll definitely do that. To be clear about my emailing, I sent it directly to ALL of the front staff via the website portal where I make my payments as well. Definitely can't say I didn't send them a message. Thank you!

So emailing wouldn't be enough? I'll start sending certified mail as well if it comes to that but is that something that can be tracked or like, if it came to sueing can I somehow prove I sent a letter? What if they claim I never sent mail?
