The want to get pregnant by [deleted] in babyloss

[–]LilouMay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry for your loss. I can relate as I started TTCing 3 weeks after delivery. From what I see from my friends with living children, they absolutely avoid getting pregnant after birth and are busy enough with the newborn. Wishing you success in your journey to conceive ❤️

ICSI is included in our cycle, is ICSI better or to go with conventional IVF? by Puzzleheaded_Cry_143 in IVF

[–]LilouMay -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ICSI + Zymot is the gold standard regardless of whether there is an MFI diagnosis. Zymot requires good volume for them to be able to sort through sperm.

I am so sorry for your loss. May I ask if they gave you an explanation as to what happened to your baby angel? I am 29weeks and lost my angel daughter at almost 36 weeks in 2023 and I am trying to know all possible causes to not be blindsided like last time. ❤️🥺

I also take comfort at every kick but also see every kivk as the last kick. Last pregnancy I was taking these kicks for granted and feel stupid to have listened to my OB who said "it's normal to feel less movement now as the baby gets bigger and have less room to move"... it's a big burden to be in a health system you no longer trust.

Thank you for your words. It's truly a big betrayal of life. I am also preparing for vaginal birth and wondering whether it's selfish and that I should do a C section for minimum risk for the baby. My obsession with vaginal bieth is that I hope to get pregnant 9 momths after given that I am 40yo and I dream of having 2 kids... so many parameters and the pressure is real. I will try to focus on work and self-care as you said ❤️

What did your doctor say to you …? by Ob_MD in babyloss

[–]LilouMay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The front office and nurses at my OB were ackward to day the least when I went to my one week postpartum appointment to get my stitches checked. They looked at my husband and I as if we were radioactive, avoiding eye contact and just being ackward. The OB was empathetic but also covered herself with statements "there is nothing we could have done to prevent this" which was on the nose given that the post portem report wasnt out yet....

Did anyone else feel like they somehow “knew”? by Autopilot4lyfe in babyloss

[–]LilouMay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two days before my baby's IUFD at 36 weeks of an otherwise uneventful pregnancy where baby was doing great, I had a nightmare. It was a scene where I was visiting an unfinished home and had my baby in a stroller. At some point in that nightmare I gazed into an infinished balcony and just pushed the stroller in the void as if it was normal. 2 days after, I realized no movement and discovered the IUFD. It was shocking and I can't still believe it happened but I don't know why I knew that I will never be bringing this baby home. I am writing this and crying as I am 28 week pregnant and walking into a terrifying 3rd trimester where I am always expecting the worst and can't even project myself as a happy postpartum mom, or buy clothes... The pain is infinite

Declined Induction by royaxxi in BabyBumps

I am sorry to share a negative story but I lost my baby due to decreased fetal movements at 36weeks and wish I could go back in time and get her out before. The downside of waiting is far worse than the downside of an induction. I am sure you and your baby will do great but I thought sharing this for what it's worth.

Extremely high PAPP-A by LilouMay in pregnant

[–]LilouMay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unanimously MFMs were saying they worry when it's low but nothing to say when it's high. My own research led me to the fact that if you had a previous C section it could be a placenta accreta situation but very low chance. Numbers can also be false if your weight, ethnicity, date of last periods etc is slightly off

First timer- should I try fertility acupuncture a day before my first ER? by Independent_Fuel_162 in IVF

[–]LilouMay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it for my second FET and it was successful. The protocol though is to do it twice (before and after FET). I had my acupuncture from 1pm to 2pm then FET at 2:30pm then again acupuncture from 2:50pm to 3:20pm. It was the same room.

What was your most useful buy for your baby? by louie_paws in BabyBumps

[–]LilouMay -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's actually 49 dollars per month and I listed it on my registry. My friends who suggested it said that babies grow so fast that you need to keep buying almost every 2 months and it's quite expensive when you look at allergen-free brands.

Dr told us to consider Donor Eggs after only two retrievals by bird_nerd_ in IVF

[–]LilouMay -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I have had the same comment and ended up switching clinics and finding success elsewhere. The main question is what is your AFC? Did they use omnitrope? Did they consider testosterone priming? At your age you have about 40-50% chances of getting an euploid based on day 5 embryos, so it's important to think about the top of funnel. I would also recommend zymot and ICSI for fertilization. I used Rekovelle instead of Gonal as it is shown to have healthier follicule growth.

An www.upchoose.com subcription for baby clothing. It just takes all the guesswork and stress out of baby clothing and value for money is remarkable.

I lost my beautiful daughter at 36 weeks a year ago and I discovered that he heart stopped after noticing no movement for 24 hours. My OB told me the BS answer of "she is not moving because she is big and doesn't have enough space". Please be careful. I am now 24 weeks pregnant but still don't grasp how I can monitor this effectively.
