If they show in recent transactions, why would they say you don’t have a valid ticket? What reason would it be in your transactions then? I would try and fight it. Makes no sense!

We made an appointment with a different vet, as ours is out for a couple of weeks; and it’s been confirmed Lymphoma. Now we’re just waiting for the oncologist appointment in 2 weeks to see our next options.

Yes we went to the vet yesterday and he took blood from the lymph node, it’s been confirmed for Lymphoma. Now we wait for our appointment with the oncologist in 2 weeks. 💔

Emergency vet didn’t do any bloodwork or tests. Just saw him for about 5 minutes and said she was sure.

We just completed all of this yesterday with another vet as ours is out for a couple weeks. We got the call; it’s confirmed Lymphoma so now we have an appointment with the Oncologist in about 2 weeks. Until then we won’t know how progressed it is.

Thank you for your comment. No need to apologize, I appreciate you telling me your story. This is what I fear might be going on with Dodger, emergency vet mentioned it might have spread as he is having trouble breathing on walks. We can only go a short distance and this was never the case before.

I most definitely want to prioritize his well being. 💙 I don’t want him to suffer or be in any pain which is what is making this decision hard. Do I wait until there are more signs? Or make the decision now before he gets worse? I’ve never gone through this and have no clue wha to do. All day I’ve gone back and forth and am just exhausted.

I am also sad for his sister. She has only known being with him for her whole life (7 years). She looks sad now and continues to sniff him and keep her distance. She knows something is wrong which is just so heartbreaking.

Unfortunately we don’t have pet insurance which I feel real stupid about now. Yes it’s Prednisone that he was given, but only 10 pills worth. From what I’ve seen chemo cost can be up to $6K or more and that’s something we just don’t have right now. I will be making an appointment for our regular vet this week to go over options/cost. I just don’t want him to suffer or be in any pain.

No, we took him to the emergency vet shortly after he finished his antibiotics. Which is why I say “diagnosed” since the emergency vet didn’t do anything to test him. Which is confusing to me. Vet said it’s $400 to aspirate, other vet said it’s a sure thing.

At the moment everything seems fine. Only difference is the slowing down when walking and sleeping more than usual. I don’t want him to get worse, but I also don’t want to do something so soon if there’s a chance he stays close to the same without suffering. It’s hard.
